I'm not there yet Belinda - just waiting on approval but I was told 24-48 hours for my doc and the other one doesn't require it at all. Interdiction isn't it? I asked why and told her I noticed all the differences on the thread and she said it depends on surgeon preference and how comfortable they are. The one doc doesn't feel the liver is in her way enough to have people on such diets. I do secretly wish they would make me do it for at least a week. Then I could have a pre surgery loss because I know I won't do it without them telling me I have to. I'm very good about following doctor's orders. But not my own

Yes!! Very! I'm a psychotherapist and get very exhausted. Hence- I'm requesting the full weeks off (doc is saying 3-4)

Ha- I just finished my 6 months and have the opposite worry- I gained every single month. Doc isn't worried. I worry though. To me it's yet one more diet that I gained weight on. I did change some habits (no pop in the last month at all)- Drinking water (never did) . My doc states that this is what they care about. Wish I was calm like her.... Tic toc tic toc

Thank you Well I did it! Today the PA said she has all of it ready to be sent and just needed to print of her note and send it to billing to who will send it off. I said "today". She just looked at me as of course she can't force her hand. I said, "Can you tell her I'm just a weeeee bit anxious" and she said "SURE!". Once again she is reassuring me this should be just fine. They have only had one person be denied and they just needed something from them and so they got it for them. So I should really put my faith in her hands. It's hard. She says it's quite normal to be this anxious about the insurance as everyone apparently is. I don't like waiting....... not for this. Gonna be a LONG couple of weeks. LONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.

Bitter sweet. I am going to be a spaz until we hear if I get approved or not. I want to finally channel my anxiety appropriately - the actual surgery- instead of the stupid insurance approval. Hopefully my next post will be to announce my date....

I can't wait to feel like I should shower twice a day just becuse I always feel yucky and can't help but remember that when I was smaller it wasn't like that. :-(

You absolutely crack me up when I read your posts!! BTW- I LOVEEEE House! Brilliant My advice- Ask for the "la la" medicine as I always put it - otherwise known as versed. I'm also a control freak and fear the unknown. That stuff is awesome and you will let go of that.

I wanted to say "congratulations" by your post Hee Hee They are nasty- I got them after my second child and they are here to stay. Maybe I should ask the surgeon to remove those too!
