I meant to ask my dr today about string cheese. I knew I forgot something!!! How far out are you?

Thank you MinaT!!! I think I'm just worried I'm going to mess up and do something I'm not supposed to. I know it will get better!! I'm don't regret my choice one bit!! I will make it through this!! I needed the positive pep talk!! thank you!!!!!

Ok I just read it again. It says soft protein however it says all food should be puréed or mashed. They won't me to go to the purée stage but just eat food high in protein. The next stage I can add fruits and veggies. That makes more sense.

I thought it was weird too. I'm one week out today and I go to my post op appt. tomorrow and they want me to eat some of an egg (hard boiled, scrambled, or poached). My book (the dr gave me) says clear liquids the day after, then full liquid till my post op appt. that's when I start soft protein food then purée foods. I'm going to ask them tomorrow cause I'm not really sure why I would go to soft protein before purée. Thank you for your post!! It will help. I have lots of questions for my dr tomorrow!

I'm one week post op today and I just don't want to eat. Really, I'm tired of my choices. I get to start soft proteins tomorrow so I'm excited about that. I did this during my Pre op diet b/c I was tired of my choices. I'm not getting hardly any protein at the moment! I'm getting a little depressed.

So please tell me how to get rid of this horrible arm fat. You know...this nasty under arm fat that waves for 10 mins after my hand stops waving.

Well I finally went at 9pm on the 24th and everything went well!! The only problem I had was after they removed the catheter I could not pee. They kept me a second night and I was finally able to go to the restroom about 4 this morning and I was released. I'm sore but other than that I'm doing great!! Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers sent my way!!

So, I'm still waiting to be sleeved. They are running behind at least 2 hours.

Congrats!!! Today is my day too!!!! I have to be at the hospital at 2:40pm. I'm so excited!!! So far I'm not nervous Good Luck, you're going to do great!! Prayers for all those Getting sleeved!!

So excited that I lost 7 lbs since last Tuesday!!!! Had my Pre-Op today only 6 days till my surgery!!! the only bad new is.....I'm hungry!!! Grrrrr July 24th can't come fast enough!!!

Does everyone have a drain after surgery??
