Well when I look in the mirror I see someont thinner then I am. Pictures tell me the opposite. So I can't wait until I look good in pictures!

Lapbandster you are too funny. If that isn't incentive not to have beer I don't know what is! I start liquid diet soon best have my fill of it before hand. I will miss that alot more then overeating, soda etc... While I don't drink it often I sure love it. -
I had implants before I gained my last 50 lbs. So they will still be there when the fat melts away. Hoping I don't need a lift!

Yes i know I need to ask my dr. I just got approved today! I'm wondering if port location is different based on starting size? I really don't want mine under my boob like some of you have. Any info will help.

There are so many dr.s appt and classes I had to attend through my program. But I am almost there. Started Mid July and will most likely be banded mid Sept or sometime mid oct! Everyday you question is a day that you could be losing. Even if it treats the symptom you will be healthier and not so heavy. To me healthy and thinner equals happy. The band is a tool meant to help you. I say use it! Good luck girl! -

They have a calorie counter on their website that will give you all the nutritional info. I know there meats are EXTREMELY salty. But if you stay away from tortillas sour cream and cheese you will be okay!

Just had my insurance submitted today. BMI 38 with three comorbids. According to BCBS il I will be covered but I will take all the prayers/well wishes I can. Thanks Guys!

I was at a meeting with a woman who lost 100 lbs with the bypass then gained it all back. she was looking into getting banded.
