Pill Question
Livinglifeout replied to Aaron in Tulsa's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take two thyroid meds, two prilosecs and Zoloft. I was told to go ahead and take them after the leak test was performed. Sometimes the Zoloft doesn't go down to smooth, have learned to take that with my protein shake. I also really space out my pills in the morning, so everything goes down whole and ok. -

Down 110 At 5Months Post Op!
Livinglifeout replied to cmd1109's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You really look fantastic. Thanks for the pictures and encouragement for those of us on the first leg of this journey. Can't wait to waive goodbye to all my plus size clothing! -
I was just sleeved yesterday by Dr. Garcia and what a wonderful experience. The facility is very clean, and they provide a private room with an extra bed for your companion. The nurses go above and beyond as far as making you comfortable and seeing to nausea meds or pain meds. There have been no language problems at all. Dr. Garcia took a long time explaining the procedure to us, and today he came by to tell me about everything that he told my husband. Also to let me know about going to the Marriott tomorrow and all the meds and paperwork they will give me for my doctor at home. Now I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Garcia and his staff to anyone:)

Happy 1Yr Surgiversary To Me!
Livinglifeout replied to mamamckinzie's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You look fantastic, and it is wonderful to hear about your new outlook on food. Great view, I am looking forward To getting the head hunger monkey off my back! -
I was sleeved July 18 and am down 18lbs, although this includes the six I gained at the hospital! Today is my first day of mushies....what a difference in energy a scrambled egg and some b-12 has made! I was pretty weak even with the protein shakes. Somehow today feels like I've crawled over the hump, and I'm on my way:)

When we were at the Marriott they had other patients there also and we were all on the same floor:)

What Would You Do?
Livinglifeout replied to Mimismom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had surgery on the 18th and still have a little drainage from that incision too. I've gone to work two times for about 4 hrs each time to catch up on things, but sitting straight up all the time in my chair was hard. If I sat bent over my desk looking at documents it hurt. So take your time returning, once they have you back it may be hard to take off. -

Help! Soda During Pre-Op Liquid?
Livinglifeout replied to Shape_Shifter's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I used to drink three diet soda's at least per day and two cups of coffee each morning.. During the pre-op stage I stopped, went through some bad headaches but figure it was better to do it before surgery since I wouldn't be allowed to drink them after I was sleeved. -
Wtf! 3 Wks Out And Only Lost 8 Lbs?!?
Livinglifeout replied to kelliecalgary's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Even though you are allowed to eat, maybe go to some low calorie protein shakes, soups, mashies ( very little) to see if your body reacts and starts losing. Just a suggestion, best of luck. -

July 18Th Sleevers!
Livinglifeout replied to Sparky79's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm still on full liquids till Wednesday. Just have zero energy. One of my incisions, the large one is still leaking a pinkish/clear liquid. Anyone else have this? I went up in weight after surgery, but now back down plus ten pounds from date of surgery. -
