To Sleeve Or Not To Sleeve
Livinglifeout replied to Jessica9190's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Only you can make that decision because you must be mentally prepared to take this journey. My history with food sounds a lot like yours, always turned to food for whatever reason. I was sleeved July 18 and chose this path so that when' I lose weight This time, I will not gain it back! I was sick and tired of being the Yo Yo dieter and having four sizes of clothes filling all my closets. I hope you read about everyone's journey here, and make the decision that is right for you:) -

They used to pay for it, not sure if they still do with all the insurance changes. My friend used Fed Blue Cross for tummy tuck after her Gastric Bypass Surgery:) -

Is It My Imagination That The Mexico Sleevers Seem To Have Less Complications?
Livinglifeout replied to DanaInNewOrleans's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery in Mexico on July 18th with Dr Garcia. He and his whole staff were wonderful. It was all inclusive and they took care of all the details from our landing in San Diego on. Never had to request pain meds, the nurses came on a regular schedule to issue meds. Not the case when I had my knee replacement in the states. My insurance did cover the surgery, but I didn't want the stress of going to all the appointments, etc over six months. When I figured paying all my deductibles for my insurance the price would be close to the $4500.00 that I paid. -

You definitely need to resist temptation. You have done fantastic with your weight loss up till now. Go back to the strict eating the program requires to get back on track. You can do it, don't stop now:) -
For our Aussie in the group "turkey" bacon is the alternative to traditional streaky bacon that is made with "pork". It is imitation bacon made from smoked, chopped turkey:)
