I have not and I'm like Sue and have to mix something in my water. I also keep a pitcher of Crystal Light Lemonade and a pitcher of one of their tea mixes in my fridge at all times .

I agree marfar, it's crazy medications/vitamins have carbs. That's why I never got into the yummy calcium chews because they take up a lot of carbs for the day and not worth it, fortunately there are other options.

Woohoo, great job!!

I second the questbars and they really help with your fiber count because they are high in fiber, which also knocks out the carb count if you do net carbs win, win! I just got peanut butter and jelly, lemon pie, and strawberry cheesecake, I haven't found one I don't like yet.

My Doctor & Nutritionist's guidelines.....

Thanks, I'm always curious what others have to follow. -
So I know this is probably on the forum and for the life of me I can't find any posts to fit what I'm asking, so I'm putting this out there. I may be just spoiled from consistently losing every week (except for a short lived plateau around Christmas time) and I'm really happy with my progress, but today I stepped on for my weekly weigh in and had gained a little over a pound. I track on MFP every little morsel and have been walking 5-6 days a weeks around 2/4 miles a day and my calories ranged from 700-1200 over this week and my protein and carbs were on target (this is all I'm supposed to watch per my NUT), so not sure what is going on. I should probably just not worry about it and see what happens next week. But any thoughts? LBT is very supportive and I may just need this, as I know this is not much of a weight gain, but as I'm sure some of you can understand, weight gain (no matter how much/little it is) is hard to accept when you are doing everything right and want to get away from obesity.

Wow, great job! And on the smoking, have you checked out vaping? I quit smoking over a year ago now I'm titrating down the vaping to get off of vaping, but the transition was easy (dare I say that ), I don't stink, my chest stopped hurting, and I feel great. -
I found it at Kroger recently.

Thank you all for your support and encouraging words. This type of thing used to send me into a downward spiral, which is not happening this time around, but it's good to hear the input of others, especially the great people on LBT . LoveTheNewMe, I've entertained that thought too, that I need more calories and I'm shooting for 1200 right now and it's just not happening consistently, I'm just not hungry, but hey, next week may fare better. And 2muchfun, I agree, I've been very lucky, but it's been consistent. Wish my search in the forums found this post you are referring to, it didn't come up, or maybe I did it wrong . I feel much better and I appreciate it!

Missy is right on target, misery loves company and people usually don't shout from the roof tops (although I might when I hit my goal ) about success, only the bad things. And remember each person is different and you may never have a problem so don't overwhelm yourself with all the horror stories and listen to what your body tells you and go to your doctor if you think something is wrong. In the beginning, I was a bit of a hypochondriac as every little thing I experienced I was contacting my NUT or doctor and now that I've learned more, I'm much more at ease.

On the main page of the form, there are support groups that narrow it down to state, you might have better luck there? You click on USA Support groups and then find states. Good luck!

Same here, 1 cup fills me up, just had dinner of fish and veggies, equivalent to about a cup and I'm good

I'll look for it, hopefully Kroger has it, we don't have BJ's around here , but thanks for the info! I saw this recipe on that Diners Food Network show with a crab meat canoli and I wanted to make it, but needed lump crab meat, it looks so good.

I had a really bad episode one night with a ribeye, I tried everything and it lasted forever. When I got home, I drank some pineapple juice, not alot of it, just about a 1/4 cup or so and it finally passed through. Not saying this will work and like someone said above, sometimes this can backfire on you and you end up heaving it all up, but I didn't try to drink until probably about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after no movement.

Great job! -
Thanks, I'll have to look for that.

Sorry, not a big swordfish eater, but what kind of lump crab meat do you eat? I tried some and it was full of shells and horrible.

That's the schedule my doc has me on.

Non-milk based protein powder?
2012 replied to koolkel's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
PlantFusion and Olympian Labs Pea Protein. I have 1/2 container of a 1 lb chocolate PlantFusion and about 3/4 1 lb container of a Vanilla Pea Protein that I could sell her for $10.00 buy it now and shipping cost on eBay (thinking of safe way to sell so everyone is covered, but up for suggestions, and I can take pics too) if she is interested. This is what I started with when I kept having problems with whey protein powders and had no side effects, but you have to get used to the taste of these, but I ended up using Isopure. You can look them up on Vitamin Shoppe for the details. -

Checking in at 170, met goal, woohoo! (I really think it has to do with my scale that needed a new battery, it works much better (as long as it's in my favor, lol) but I'll take it ) -
Same sizes here as Chez. The longest one to fade is the port incision, but it's going away. I'm 8 months out to give you a time frame.

Fast food and alcholic drinks??

Wendy's small chili is a good pick like someone else mentioned and Arby's roast beef, plain and no bread is a good pick too. It's low fat, high protein, and yummy .
