Personally I have not had one that small, but in my last appointment in speaking to my nutritionist to decide if I needed a fill, she said she had one done this amount before and it helped her.

I was at Meijers last night checking out frozen meals and I watch carbs like you and honestly I could not find anything that fit the bill, like B-52 said, most are rice or pasta which jumps up the carbs. However, Atkins had 2 meals which are low carb, but the fat was like 25 for each of them. They looked good, but I also found them to be expensive, so I didn't buy them. They were about $5.00 each if you are interested, but the fat and price were a turn off for me, although they looked good. Maybe you can find a coupon on Atkins website because they are new.

It works, thank you Lisa!

Just out of curiosity, is everyone using a morning weight (no clothes, no shoes, etc), or evening weight (with clothes, etc)? Somehow I magically gain weight each day (probably food, sodium, etc) but then it's gone by morning. I prefer my morning weight

Checking in at 186.5, looks like I may meet my January goal after all, woohoo!

I believe the discount was towards that $400.00 fee, sorry I vaguely remember. I believe I paid $180.00 (additional to the $12,999) for the 2 week pre-op, they provide medifast shakes and bars, I thought they were good, but stay far, far away from the chili , it is very gross and smells funny too. The bars are really good, a little too good, but only 1 bar a day. The $12,999 pays for everything else, surgery, going to Journeylite, not Jewish hospital, Jewish costs I think $1000.00 more, 2 years of fills and I see a nutritionist every time I go to a visit (this is included), and he repairs a hiatal hernia at no cost during lap band surgery if he finds one (this is not common for this surgery cost to be included as you will find reading LBT). I ended up having one that he fixed and no more reflux, yay! He only does surgery on Mondays at the Evendale office. I have a lot of work to do at home tonight to catch up, but let me dig out my docs and see if I can figure out the costs for you, I do remember that the Fast Track (work out center) will probably cost $20.13 a month, since it was $20.12 last year. But I'll get back to you, I'm on here every night and feel free to ask any questions you have, I was banded in July 2012 and Dr. Curry is very skilled. And if you didn't already know, Dr. Curry has a lap band himself. Are you in Cincinnati? I'm in Northern Kentucky, but I work in Cincinnati. -

Hi there Creekwood, I too am a self pay thru Curry, had my surgery in July. The nuts in the office will tell you to drink no less than 64oz but have never heard of a maximum, I'm still working on it, but when I focus I can actually do it . Go to one of their seminars and you can get a discount and of course more information and Dr. Curry is the one who does it. But I will tell you that you only see the nurses after the surgery, which is not bad, they know what they are doing and the nuts (Rebecca and Erin) are great! Isn't it cool that Dr. Curry answers questions via email, we may not see him, but still have access to him. -
Wow, awesome job!

I am very happy and I have only had a few bumps in the road with all being user error, but you learn from your mistakes, right? As of today I have lost 75lbs and I'm wearing clothes in my closet from 4 years ago. People call me skinny (and I call them crazy ) I know I can get smaller and then they can call me skinny, lol. I am really happy I made the decision finally (took 2 years to do it) and it has been well worth it! And this website and the great people on here have been my saving grace. -
Here is something interesting I found that the fitbit can be used with, may be of interest to you: http://lifehacker.co...ewards. Sounds kind of sounds too good to be true, but it's free to join, so I don't see how it would hurt to try.

On the calories burned, does this take into account if you do other exercise, say like strength training, or is it primarily for walking? I'm looking into getting one, but not sure 100% how it works.

I was told the same as dwarren30 (the 2 snacks were advised by my NUT from the start) and with a 1 cup limit.

I don't buy these on this website, but here are the ones I really like, no wire, support, and really comfortable. I finally broke down and bought some last night, had the same problem as you: http://www.herroom.com/vanity-fair-71380-beautiful-benefits-back-smoothing-full-figure-bra.shtml

Not weird at all, that is awesome! Great job!

How long after the surgery does the bloating go down?
2012 replied to Giovy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It took me about a week for it to all go away, including the gas pains in the shoulder. -
I totally agree with CG, actually I went looking for the peach ice tea after I saw her mention it in another post, and it is really good, my favorite right now I really love cherry limeade too but I look like a 3 year old if I drink it (bright red color)

Are you doing better now with the unfill? How is it going?
-
I agree with Dee as I have the same problem as you and I had actually posted the same question some time ago on here . Keep that water bottle with you at all times and keep on sipping, and flavor it. One suggestion that I thought was really good, that I still have not tried, but this post reminded me of it, is to time yourself like make a goal of so many ounces in so much time and you can get it in.

Is it after you have been eating? It make be a soft stop sign to stop eating. Mine is a little hiccup when I need to stop.
-
It will definitely keep you motivated , I paid $13,000 out of pocket and sure has kept me motivated, lol.

Missy just put a good coffee drink on here lately, Missy if you see this, please post it, and I'll try to find it.

Where are you located? Maybe if you give this out, someone on here has had a similar situation or can offer suggestions.
-
I would be looking for a new doc, that is ridiculous. Especially telling you that you are chewing too much? Does he even understand the lap band and how this works? And personally cheese fills me up just fine, I use it as a snack often and the grumbling stomach stops.

Favorite recipe website or personal recipies

emilybites.com is really good and she usually puts the nutritional information (based on MFP) at the bottom of her recipes. I only tried the slow cooker buffalo chicken and it was really good. Sparkpeople.com is a good website to look up low carb recipes as well.
