Yes my face was giving me a lot of (new) problems and I tried all kinds of things, but nothing really worked. However, my clarisonic has seemed to help some, I found a really good deal on eBay over Christmas and finally bought one.

Since you like spinach, you should try the recipe Patty posted, here's a link: http://www.smartbalance.com/recipes/chicken-and-spinach-casserole. It's so good! The green giant seasoned steamers are really good too, I just had the Tuscon broccoli with some cheese tonight.

Seriously Embarrassed !

I stood on my bathroom sink to reach the top of my mirror to clean it and broke it and had to buy and replace a new one (I rent) and fortunately my dad came in and helped me as I have no clue how to replace this (but now I do, lol). Granted you should not stand on the sink, but still -

Parmesan Crusted Chicken (super easy)
2012 replied to PattyGirl66's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You know I've got to try this one! Thank you! Did you post that dessert you mentioned before? I may have overlooked the post. -
There are only a few fast food items I will eat now, Arby's roast beef (no bun), Wendy's small chili, or pizza with super thin crust. Sometimes I don't have time and need to make a quick stop but I'm a lot smarter about it than before, no shake, extra large fry, and maybe even another desert to top it off like I would have done before. Sounds pretty yucky to me now, haha

Grapples are so good, I love them! I have not tried fruit skin yet, but I will probably peel when I do. Been sticking to sugar free fruits in the can for now.

Terry, I love your posts, you make me laugh every time I drink 2 cups a day with sugar free creamer and stevia. My NUT was okay with it. I did cut down though, from 4 cups a day. I've been losing consistently (except for 1 month I plateaued, but that happens) and the key is if you track it, then you don't go overboard.

Thank you! And Missy that's funny you say that because I asked the girl at checkout what size the "normal" side goes up to and when she said 16, that just made my day . It's been a long time since I've seen this number and Patty you will be there soon, I know you are in that February challenge and are doing really good! And remember we are all shaped differently, I was really surprised I got in that size because I'm a pear shape (I think) if that's when you are small on top and big around the belly and thighs, but I lost my butt (fine by me, hehe).

Snow removal is exercise right?
2012 replied to honk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Definitely! I can walk for 45 minutes at a pace of 3.2 without breaking a sweat, but if I go out and shovel snow, I break a sweat easily -
Nicely put Missy! Exactly how I feel and will act if I ever get the "balls" to date again .

Protein shake flavorings and recipes?
2012 replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Look in the coffee isle, there are all kinds of sugar free flavoring syrups, sorry I can't remember the name right now. I found them at Wal-Mart, but I believe I saw them at Kroger too. -
Pain- not sure what to think
2012 replied to jennygirl37's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had an episode similar to yours and kept burping a lot, so I contacted my NUT to see what I did wrong and she told me I ate to fast. I didn't feel like I was stuck and was not pbing or anything, but had the burping. -
Protein shake flavorings and recipes?
2012 replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
People call it a butterfinger shake, which I'm sure if I'd say it tastes like that, but it's still good, you add 1 T of sugar free butterscotch pudding mix to a chocolate protein shake. -

Has anyone experienced their soft stop going away? Mine used to a be a little hiccup and I don't experience it anymore. Granted I stick to my 1 cup allotment, but was curious if others lost theirs.

What is riced cauliflower? I would like to try this, but I have no clue what this is? I would imagine cut up cauliflower, maybe with a cheese grater or food processor? -
That is good news . Do you have to watch carbs at all? I think I would have a hard time uping calories and not going over my carbs. I guess I eat could more meat, but still

I like that and I bet the feathers would hide blemishes better too, I wonder if you can do it with a shellac/gelish polish? Regular polish does not do too well on me and I bought a gelish kit and do them myself and love it! I take breaks between as it can dry up your nails, but mine grow really good when I use it.

That's good to hear, I was thinking I'll never do it because it would cost a fortune .

Protein Shakes after Surgery
2012 replied to bar2373's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I usually drink a protein drink everyday, I'm not that hungry in the morning, but I need to take my vitamins and the protein drink keeps me from getting nauseated from taking the pills and gets something in my system to start the day. Then I eat a snack between breakfast and lunch which is more of a food like yogurt or whatever I end up taking with me to work. It's easily portable and my NUT was okay with it and it works for me.
