All of my life I have struggled with my weight. I have always been challenged with the name calling and how to deal with that. It was not until I was diagnosed with cancer in 1995, that I realized I was not as big boned as I had thought. The dr.'s had the hardest time trying to get to my bones. I determined too much meat on them. I started trying to live healthier. I would do good and then fall off the bandwagon. Once, I reached my forties I began having swollen ankles, high blood pressure and stiff legs and knees. I started looking into other options. I am so thankful I chose the lapband. It is not easy but it makes it EZR.
