Mine was right before surgery. It may be the disease of compulsive eating that you're dealing with. It's good you're talking about it! You made the right decision. Next month will be a year for me. Keep reaching out and discussing your feelings. They will go up and down but dive into them and finally deal with what you may have masked with food.

I'm a self pay patient of Dr Curry's that was banded Nov 2011. I really feel alone and would like some support as to what's normal and what I can expect with each phase.
