I lost 31 lbs total (pre and post op) I have lost 4.5 inches from my hips 3.5 from my waist, 2 from each leg 2.5 from each arm and 4 from my bust... You hvae to get an all over idea!

I am getting so frustrated with my stall as well! I keep flip flopping between the same 2-3lbs... But my Dr and Nut assured me this was normal... Yesterday I dropped down 2lbs from my lowest weight so far so I am hoping this was the break in the stall!! Fingers crossed!

I have definately heard that before!

I would choose the Y... They offer so much more in my opinion...

Mine was when i was able to put on my wedding rings everyday without them being STUCK or not going on at all! Now I wear them every day!

I was told by my OBGYN that pregnancy with Mirena is VERY VERY RARE...even with extreme weight loss... He just suggested when I lose 50lbs or more come in to check on it just in the rare case that it moved, however he assured me I should not have anything to worry about bc your cervix (where mirena is placed) doesnt change.

You could go and look... Try on dresses and get an idea of waht you want... But I would wait to order anything... I am the MOH in my sister's wedding at the end of May... I was just sleeved 12.12 and I told her I am waiting until April to buy my dress!!!

I am not sure why, but I feel completely normal! Thank God!! Maybe I just got lucky...

Sleeved 12.12.12... Down 30lbs!!

I was sleeved on 12.12.12... On the day of surgery I was 258.4 lbs... This morning I weighed 236.6 lbs... I am VERY happy with my progress so far, but I don't expect it to stay like this! If I lose 1-2 lbs a week consistently, I will be happy!

I was sleeved on Dec 12th and mine are still a little red and have little scabs but they are healing really really well... I am actually shocked at how healed they already are!

I was sleeved on a Wed, I can honestly say Sat was the WORST day!!! But Sunday Morning I woke up and felt amazing and since then I have felt better every day... Now I feel completely normal!

I was 264 lbs before I started mt own 2 week pre-op diet (since my Surgeon didn't require one). I was 256 lbs the morning of my surgery. 12/12/12 I was 246 lbs this past Wed when I went for my 1 week post op appointment. This morning I gave in and weighed myself and I am 240 lbs!! I will take it! That's 24 lbs since my pre-op diet and 16lbs since surgery!!!! For me that is more then awesome! I said I would be happy losing 2 lbs a week! This is WAY more then that!! I am hoping to be to goal by next Christmas!!

I feel awesome! I have walked around that mall, done 12 loads of laundry food shopped! Feeling like normal life again!!! I have lost 12lbs since surgery! I can't complain!!

Elektrik_Rose:How are you feeling? I am feeling awesome! Almost pain free...EXCEPT for when I sneeze! I feel like I am being stabbed in my lower abdomen by my belly button.... Other then that I feel great! I didn't think I would feel like this, this soon, I went to the mall tonight and walked around and everything and still feel great! I even slept on my stomach last night! I still find drinking warm Chamomile Team feels great in my new little tummy!

I have found the cream soups have helped me stay fuller as well... I was also sleeved on 12.12.12... My Dr and Nut said I can start Puree somewhere between 7-10 days post op depending on how I feel... Their definition of puree includes Scrambled Eggs so that makes me really happy! I am hoping to have a more full feeling then!! I feel like I am constantly eatting!

I was sleeved last Wed... Thursday was a blur I slept most of the day and was in alot of pain. Was released from the hospital at night... Then I felt awful and by Sat I was regretting having this surgery... They magically Sunday I woke up and felt GREAT! I have felt amazing since then!!! It will get better.... WALK ALOT! It really helps!!

I hate when people think that things can't change in a short amount of time... Quite some time ago my husband had an affair, I found out about it... We talked about things, got to the rot of the problem and decided together that we both wanted to work things out... While things were not completely healed in 2 weeks things were much better... While I wish this never happened, I am as funny and "cliche" as it sounds glad it happened... If not now our marriage would be over affair or no affair. And now we are in a really great place I hope everything goes well for you OP... This soon after the affair just be cautious... I hope for your sake you guy end up like me and my husband... I know no matter what he would NEVER cheat on me again because he saw how much it really hurt me and he would never do it again! Good Luck in all that you do!

I have Horizon BCBS of NJ... I was sleeved 12.12.2012... My approval was quick once submitted... I was required to have a psych consult 3 consecutive months of visits with the nutritionist and that's all! I was approved 3 days after my surgeon's office submitted to Horizon!

I guess I am almost 6 days... I had surgery on 12.12.12 early morning... I am so anxious to be weighed tomorrow at my post op appointment. I realized four days ago my scale battery died at home so I have not been able to weigh myself, but it probably for the better! LoL I seriously can not wait to see. Congrats 14lbs in 6 days is AMAZING!!

I am not a doctor so take my advice lightly... When I had my gall bladder surgery, I had an incision that was healing like that... It was the big one right under my bra band right on my sternum... My advice (an of course ask your dr, this is what mine told me) is to clean very well everyday and use antibiotic cream (you can buy OTC at CVS) and cover with a band aid....
