    burrito recipes

    How about eating the items that go into a burrito instead of a whole burrito? Or you could put some of the ingredients (beans, onions, bell peppers, meat of your choice, guacamole) on top of some lettuce to make a burrito salad instead?

    Chance of Working Again After "Total Failure?"

    I feel the same way as you - good job on making that appointment! I also find it easier to follow the rules and be more conscious of how to work with your band if you visit the forums and give it some real thought each day. Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I really paid attention to how my hunger felt, and I was able to really control my eating and what I ate, all because I spent about 30 minutes reading the forums for encouragement and to remind myself that there are others out there who are experiencing the same things I am. Good luck!
  3. Very interesting to read, I'm glad you were able to get the 11cc band in! I have a 4cc band and it's so finicky. Some days I could eat a truck, some days I can't eat more than liquids. If I have a cold, 75% of the time 2 weeks later my band shuts and I have to go get an unfill. I think I'll stick with the 4cc as long as I can, but might have to revise to an 11cc at some point.

    This was great, it motivated me to finally start a food diary. In the mornings when I'm like, "uh, I ate so much!" I realize that 4 small, homemade turkey meatball leftovers in pasta sauce and 10 cherries for a snack ain't that much. Dinnertime is another story...I need better restriction. If I could eat breakfast-ish all day I'd be in a good place! Working towards that today, more portion control.
