    Tracking

I started my pre-op diet today and downloaded MyFitnessPal. I can see how it will be very helpful and I plan to continue using it.
  2. As a hubby, I can tell you that yours is probably as worried as you (if not more so) and he's trying to make himself feel better by asking lots of questions. My advice is to let him ask away. He'll come around, and eventually he's bound to have exhausted his list of questions! :-)

Thank you all for your help!

    Pb2

Somebody mentioned PB2 on a thread and I wanted to share with everyone. It's a great product -- basically powdered defatted peanuts; all the protein with very, very little fat and no sugar. Mixed with a bit of water it tastes just like real peanut butter. I'm pre-op but I can imagine that it would be great in a protein shake! I had to order it online, but they have a website that lists the stores where it's sold. Just wanted to share.
  5. First appointment today! I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it! I'm about to lose control and I think I like it! I like it!

Down 43 Lbs Got My Sleeve June 12

    Excellent. Keep it rolling!
  11. First -- Happy Surgiversary! The last time I attempted to ride a roller coaster, I was 320 (I'm 6'2") and had to take the walk of shame. However, I think you're right that a lot of it is how the weight is distributed. But holy crap, you've lost 245 pounds! BFD if you can't fit in a roller coaster yet. You've done amazingly well!

I Did It The Baked Ricotta!

Looks great! Although I must say that when I first saw your pic I thought, "My God, that's a huge fork!" Then I realized it's on your tablecloth. :-)
  13. Do you mind saying who your surgeon was? I have my first appointment with Dr. Broussard Friday!

    Nsv For Me..again

Definitely! For me it's riding roller coasters and going to Water parks! Sounds silly, but I haven't been able to do either of those things in years.

    Plication?

I totally agree with Rootman. Plication seems like much too much of a gamble.

Is 50 Pounds In 6 Months Super Slow?

50 pounds is 50 pounds any way you look at it! You should be proud! The rest will come off -- just keep doing your thang. :-)

    Nsv For Me..again

Awesome! That's the kind of thing I'm really looking forward to after surgery. I'm more excited about the NSVs than the SVs! :-)
  19. Best wishes for happy outcomes. It sounds like an adventure! :-)

    Over Eating

I know exactly how you feel. I don't even have a surgery date yet but I'm self pay so I know it will be relatively quick. I can't stop eating!!!! I need to quit, but easier said than done, I suppose.
