My dietitian told me, your body is used to running on jet fuel and is having to change to diesel. I know it sounds cutesy, but it has helped me be more patient. I am sleeping a LOT too. I am a teacher and am so thankful I have the summer off to recuperate. Actually, Monday was 4 weeks out for me and it is getting better. I have an appointment with my regular physician tomorrow to check blood pressure. Maybe my meds need adjusting! Really, I'm pooped! Hang in there! Ann

I'm using a generic so maybe that's why mine is "crushable." I asked on all my meds before surgery. Good luck!

I bought a pill crusher and use it to take the omeprazole. I crush it and then lean my head back, put the powder as far back as I can and take a sip of water. It's working. I also take thyroid and Zyrtec and do the same with them. The funny part for me is the omeprazole must be done 30 minutes before anything else and the thyroid must be taken 30 minutes before eating so I am "timing" my first hour every morning. It's all doable and great because my life is CHANGING!

I was sleeved on June 11 and went through a week where I did not lose any! It was so discouraging and then, I went to my mom's for 4 days and came back having lost 5 pounds! Don't be discouraged. Keep on keepin' on. Hope the weight moves for you soon!

Perhaps this is just a straw on the camel's back and not really the big issue at all. I am happy for you that you are taking this step toward a better you. I wish for you peace in every aspect of your life.

I have felt like I swallowed a rock every time I eat. It definitely is painful but is getting slightly better. I am 4 weeks out on Monday. I will tell you I have thrown up several times due to an antibiotic I had to take for an infection. It was not as bad I thought it would be. I avoided it like the plague as well but was surprised when it wasn't too bad. My doctor was upset I threw up though. He gave me phenergan to keep me from vomiting. Hope it gets better for you soon!

I am less than 4 weeks out and am so thankful to have found this site! Thank you all for the pictures. They are such an inspiration to me! You guys look amazing! I must take one soon so I can have a record of where I was. I am a teacher and have my school photo to remind me how big I got! I started to throw it away one day and now, I'm glad I didn't. It will be a great reminder of why I did this. Best wishes to everyone! I am so happy for all of you!

I am struggling with finding anything that "tastes good" but reading your post makes me know I am doing GREAT! Please seek help. I had my surgery on June 11 and although I don't feel great, I now recognize it could be so much worse! Hang in there and as others have said, please let us know how you do. Praying for you!
