Hello! I'm having surgery next Monday 7/16/12. Anyone else having surgery the same day?

I'm 1 week out as well. Surgery was 7/16. Im going through the same things you're all going and the back pain I'm exhausted! The first week I had to stay 3 nights post op at the hospital since my stomach was too swollen. I lost 5 pounds this first week, and I was expecting a bit more than that... Hopefully this week will be better :-) I'm still on Clear liquids, and doing Protein shots pretty much every day to get some protein in. Tomorrow it's my appointment with my surgeon and he will decide whether I can move on to clear liquids or puréed food. Best of luck to everyone and congratulations on your weight loss so far!!! My Surgery will be on the 16th of July, and I too have cheated on my pre op diet. The surgeon put me on a only liquid diet for 9 days and 1 clear liquid. Today is day 3 and I've cheated I'm also low BMI 38, and called my surgeon's office and they said I should be ok, just don't do it again! :-) hope this helps!
