Sorry you are going through this. Try to stay positive and strong for you and your kids first. This is exactly what's happening to one of my best friends. She has been married for 10 years and her husband left her while she was in the hospital fighting for her life. The Last couple of years they have been through a lot financially. He blamed her for them losing there home, car, etc. but she never thought he would cheat or want a divorce. So when they lost there house they moved in with friends and her husband ended up cheating with one of their roommates. She forgave him and they moved out, to their own apartment. So for a year they were ok so she thought, well she fell extremely ill. She had emergency surgery, almost lost her life about 3 months ago and is still struggling to get well, they just told her she most likely has cancer. She doesn't work, is 90 lbs, losing her hair and fighting for her life and this Bastard files for divorce! He leaves her with nothing! No money, food, phone, and no where to live (he moved out while she was in hospital). I am so devastated for her! I think the same how can you be with someone 10 years, share, Love, do all the things ppl do when there married and you leave your wife in her worst time of need! I must say though she is strong and is getting through, emotionally anyway. She said she would never be with him again and is closes this chapter. Can you be stuck but with no pain? I feel lots of mucous in my throat and I want to keep swallowing cause it feels like food is still in my throat. no pain, just wondering if this could be my stuck?

Yes I agree move move move. I walked almost all day around my house for the first 2 days to get the gas out. With the help of gas X strips, I was pain free day 4 post OP. Good luck hope you start feeling better.

I was banned 6/26/12, everything has been great except for a few issues. So last Friday I got my last large fill 2cc for a total of 7cc, my doc said from now on 1/2 cc fills. She said I prolly would be super tight with this last fill that I wouldn't be able to get solids down until after noon, from combo of fill and morning tightness. But NO! Total opposite! This is the first time I've felt like I'm starving, my stomach is even making hungry noises. My ankles started swelling and gained 4 to 5 lbs. I called my doc to get a appointment for an early fill and was denied by front desk personnel. so I don't get in to MD for another 8 days. Please help with any suggestions. I feel very heavy, swollen and depressed! Same way I felt before surgery.

Banded 6/26/12 down 35 lbs, just got a fill today. I have 7cc in a 14 cc band. I think I'm to tight though after todays fill.

Hi, I had my band 6/26/12, lost a total of 25 lbs so far. But have been at the same weight for 2 Weeks. I have 5 cc in my band. So back to my question when will the weight start coming off? When I get restriction? Thanks in advance

Well first I'm following the diet to the t. I have anxiety about getting stuck so I try my best to follow everything my doctor says, plus I exercise 5 days a week. maybe I'm just anxious. I didn't put this weight on over night so its not coming off over night.

I'm almost 4 Weeks post OP, I have a swallowing problem so my doc. Removed all my liquid from band so we are slowly putting it back in. I have 3 cc in and I have lost 25 lbs.

I had the worst episode of anxiety after my first meal of solid food. I thought I was stuck which could have increase the feeling of anxiety. but I had no pain but did have extreme dryness and difficulty swallowing after meal. Has anyone gone thru this?? Any suggestions or experiences with this. Also i feel so upset i keep thinking is the band worth keeping in?? Tomorrow I'll be 3 Weeks post OP.Thank you
