I am a little over my 3 month mark and starting to notice a significant amount of hair loss and breakage. Anyone have any solutions for this? I would hate to be skinny, but bald.

I am getting surgery in the fall and they are going to be some nice perky Double Ds, lol.

Tummy Tuck in Mexico...Any recommendations?
Skyjack1 replied to scubadottie's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I have pushed mine with Dr. S to October 7th getting ready to confirm airfare. A little nervous since I will be going alone. I can't possibly expect someone to go watch me recover for 10 days. That's not a vacation! That's torture! -
I be done a lot of research and believe I am going to book with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey in the fall. He is very easy to talk to and he almost has a cult like following, lol. I have seen a lot of before and after pics of people 12 days later and they are amazing.

Sorry I didn't answer the other part of the question. He said 10 days for recovery. -
Tummy Tuck in Mexico...Any recommendations?

11000 covers the stay and he refunds 600 for airfare. I would be up for the additional discount however I can't possibly do July. I own a restaurant and its a seafood restaurant so we are super busy in the summer plus I have to save the money and I think September would be a realistic time frame for saving -
Tummy Tuck in Mexico...Any recommendations?

Dottie, I have sent him my pics and we spoke about changing my current implants along with a lift, tummy tuck and lipo and if he can possibly get two liters of fat injecting that into my butt. He says he will have to see me first to determine whether he can get that much for a fat transfer. I was quoted 11000 that includes everything and he covers airfare if you do a package deal. Individual surgeries cost more per surgery and are discounted when you combine plus he won't pay for hotel or airfare unless you combine them. I found some before and afters of someone on Obesity Help and the pics if his work looked amazing. -

I am also looking at Dr. Sauceda. Has anyone ever heard anything negative about him? I am looking to book mid September. -
My poor experience with A Lighter Me
Skyjack1 replied to dawndenise's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Had surgery in Mexico in August and going back in September for tummy tuck, boob lift, lipo and Butt lift and I will go back in 10 years for a facelift. I am no coordinator I will assure you. The care is first rate. -
Has the sleeve not worked for you?
Skyjack1 replied to tannak's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I wouldn't say I regret it but I haven't lost as much as I would like to have lost. I was a low BMI anyway and I have to say I have never dieted with it. So probably more my fault then the sleeve. -
My poor experience with A Lighter Me
Skyjack1 replied to dawndenise's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I had an exceptional experience with A Lighter Me, Janese, Dr. Lopez, Abraham and Eduardo. I am still in contact with Janese 8 months after surgery. In fact I have recently contacted her for plastics. I don't think anyone should decide on one persons opinion. This person may simply be making a mountain out of a molehill. -
I am 6 weeks out and lately I've been hungry every 2-3 hours. Will this feeling go away? I hope so it's scaring me. I am trying to eat high protein to fill me up for longer periods but it's not working like before.

Gastric Plication Surgery
Skyjack1 replied to ItsMorningLove's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was going to have the plication at first but once I researched it I found there was way too much that could go wrong and I wasn't comfortable so I got the sleeve. -

33 BMI and scheduled for VG...
Skyjack1 replied to Didit12262012's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was a 31 BMI I also made my mind up and in the next week I was on a plane to Mexico and never looked back. I had no complications. I was out sightseeing and shopping 2 days later with no pain. I eat like a totally normal person now. The portions people are suppose to eat. I have only lost about 35-40 lbs since August but I also haven't worked out or changed my diet and i still drink alcohol. I just eat less. I plan to lose that extra 25 before summer and get on my exercise program after the new year. Good luck to you it's the best thing Ive ever spent my money on. -
Alcohol over Xmas 1 week post op?
Skyjack1 replied to Buzby's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I did at about 2 and a half weeks but kept it very mild. At a week seems a bit too early. -
What was your starting weight if you don't mind me asking.
-
Just like before when you went out when you consumed less calories you tend to get buzzing a little quicker.
-
I drink and have since 5 weeks. I am 4 months out now but never had any problem with it. Did give up beer. I usually do orange crushes minus the sprite. They are still fruity without the acid of orange juice since its fresh squeezed.
-
Well I think also one stupid thing I did was dye my hair from dark to light with bleach. So that probably did not help. I wasn't losing when I did that but I am losing heavily now. It just sucks! Just when I was starting to live life normal and happy I get thrown a curveball, lol.
-
Agree except I used Dr. Lopez so glad I didn't waste my money in the states. I spent exactly 6000. 4500 for surgery, 1000 for airfare, and 500 on sightseeing after surgery.
-
I Understand you shouldn't drink it but what if youre out with the girls and you want a drink? I understand that there is extra calories involved that you shouldnt have with your diet. PS I hate wine! I am a former beer drinker
