  1. Hi- I haven't been on the site since surgery March 23. Things were going good for a while. I realized I am a slow loser and didn't have a problem with that. I started out at 226 and up until mid June I was 191. I was excited, had not been in the 100's in years. The reason I is writing I am scared of regainining. I am at a point where I realize I can eat more and I have experimented with things like pizza. (Ate a half of slice). I find that I do get full quick but not to long after I feel empty again. Does anyone have any suggestions what type of diet to follow or how to get back on track? Next dr's visit is in Sept and I would love to be down at least 10-15 lbs.
  2. My surgery is scheduled for 6 am tommorrow and I am a bit nervous. Unlike when I had my band placed today was not such a bad day. I am going to put everything in Gods hands. My last documented weight was taken 3.19.10 at 226lbs. Thanks to all those for advice in my old thread advice.
  3. Someone else mentioned before set an appointment with the surgoen and explain to him your circumstances. Be very persistant with getting the first available appointment to see him. I had somewhat of a similar situation with my coordinators and what I did was emailed my doctor and the nutrionist whom i had build a relationship with and they assisted me(i am getting lapband revision). Do not give up my insurance denied it initially but asked for supporting documentation stating why they felt it was best. Good Luck. Patience
  4. I am exactly one week from my surgery date and so nervous. I go for my pre-op this morning with my doctor and now I seem to have fifty million questions. Can anyone suggest liquids for the for couple of weeks, vitamins and any type of words of wisdom?
  5. hi Tiffykins, It meesa you gave me advice a couple of weeks ago. My insurance approved my revision surgery today from the band to the sleeve. I am excited but can you tell me what I might really expect.

  6. Hi my name is Meesa. on January 8, 2008 I had Lapband Surgery. It has been 2 years of misery. Approximately 3 months ago my surgoen suggested I switch to the sleeve. In researching it I don't see alot of information/testimonals.I am curious if anyone has converted from the band to the sleeve and their testimonals.
