  1. Lol...I made a similar post also...I remember thinking..."I just want to be fat like everyone else!!!! Not morbidly obese !!" . Congrats!!!!!
  2. Lol...you made me laugh...
  3. I promise myself that I'd return a year after to the same spot in Hearst Castle...
  4. Update: the date went great! He asked me out again...
  5. I am 8 months out and I've been single for 4 months. I am going on a first date tonight with someone I just met online on Match. I am so nervous. Insecure. I've gone from 265 to 185 lbs and feel great, but not dating great. Not sure either on how am I gonna explain the small amount of food I'll be able to consume. I think a first date is too soon to tell someone I had gastric surgery. Please help me!!!!
  6. 3 lbs away of being merely overweight and no longer obese....
  7. Don't be scared. I misunderstood my directions and was eating lentils, cottage cheese, and yogurt from day one. 6 months later, the restriction is there, firmly tugging at me and it is just physically impossible to eat HALF of a normal, single modest serving of anything. I've lost slowly in comparison to other people, but I've lost 70 lbs. You can do this. Good things WILL happen to you.
  8. I am grateful that I have lost 70 lbs. I weight 195 lbs. now. However, despite all that weight lost, I don't feel skinnier. I feel the same, shape and everything but a smaller version of an equally overweight person. When does that change? When I am at a "normal" weight according to charts? That would be between 135-145 for my 5'4" frame. I am closer to that, but thought that at this point I'd feel skinnier but I don't. What is your experience? At what point of the journey you thought: "This is IT, I am not losing anymore weight!"? Thanks in advance for your response. I could have not gone through this without your help and encouragement from day one. Hugs.
  9. Well, I am six months out and I've loss 2/3 of my hair. I have a bob style hair cut but I clip it back, because my hair is so thin that it sticks out to the sides because there is absolutely no wweight to it. You can see my scalp from all angels. My doc says that as long as I keep the 80 gr of protein it should come back. I didn't have much hair to begin with, so its pretty bad. I expected the hairloss, but its still hard because it feels I can't do anything about it. Too thin for a pixie cut (then you would see my scalp ALL the time said my dresser) and too thin for hair extentions. Seems so unbelievable that it will come back. I don't see any signs of it. If this continues I literally will be completely bald and I am not exagerating. All in all, I'd do it again.

Who Was Sleeve On July 16 2012

I was sleeved July 9th and just yesterday morning I made it to Onederland at 199.4 from 262. I pretty much eat anything, but not very much at all. Haven't exercised at all for a number of reasons (not even a stroll) but as soon as I can I expect the exercise to help with weight loss and muscle joint. The only hard thing is the inevitable hair loss, which my doc says is normal and that it will come back. I look like I have a terminal illness, as you can see two deep entrances on the sides of my forehead. Starting to wonder if I should dye my hair blonde again (I am a burnette, have been blonde before) so my scalp wouldn't be so noticeable....but even if my hair doesnt come back, I am happy
  11. Congrats! Such a great accomplishment? What did your diet/workout routine looked like?
  12. I've heard that for some when they lose weight their tail bone starts hurting. This has started happen to me too. It feels like my tailbone is pretruding and it hurts when I sit and during sex. I am wondering if this is because our spine/ tailbone adjusts to hold all the extra weight and when we lose it it doesn't adjust back. I am going to bring it up in my next dr appointment, but just wondering if anyone here has had the same problem and what did the doctor said...any info will help!!!
