Yes I was also. My surgeon advanced me early. Said I was doing great. Last night I made salmon cakes. Today I had a fake out cheese omelet(one egg with pepper jack cheese). I had Tilapia and chicken but I have not had potatoes of green beans. That sound good. The chiil i did on my purée . I purred Wendy's chilli and it was GREAT.

First let me say a big hello to you. Sleeve should not be a contraindication to HIV. Check with your doctor and pharmacist about using a liquid form of anti vials. Why are you concerned with the two. I work in health care and EVERYDAY surgeries are performed on HIV patients. As you said tat this is it so you need to put your boots on get to researching. Talk to anyone you think can help. I will be waiting on you on the losers bench. -

Ok I was just trying see where I was at. Lol. I am 3wks and 3 days out. I have lost 20 since surgery. I'm able to stay out from work until nov 21 but I think I'm going back early. I'm going crazy.

I haven't had bad thoughts either. I just worry that it wont work. Just early out jitters I guess. I wasnt nervous about any of the this, and haven't had any problems. Just going crazy. Maybe I need to go back to work. Lol -

I'm 3 weeks out. I do understand what you guys are talking about. Now I keep going crazy thinking that the sleeve will not work. I had a great surgery with a excellent recovery so I guess that's why I'm going crazy with crazy thoughts. -

You will lose. This is your help. Old habits are hard to break when it comes to food comforts. Just stay focused and you will see the pounds and inches melt away. If your hungry from being and seeing everyone upset then you will need to address that issue and find ways to push through that. But I just know you will be just fine. This is a life long challenge for all of us so don't feel alone. Hit me up whenever you need a boost. -

Stay prayful. I was denied and it has been a long journey. I had the same issues as you but then three later I had a higher BMI with all the bells and whistles. I switched jobs twice and finally got my new insurance to approve me. Your time well come soon. Don't give up or in. -

I have BCBS FEP and I love it. I was approved within days and only had to pay about $500 total out of pocket. That was trully my NSV. Congrats and many blessings to you.

With the soup it can be to hot. U need to make the temp less hot and that will stop the curdle. Use a themometer. I heat fat free chicken broth check temp then add powder.

I only like the strawberry sorbet with water. The chocolate/vanilla I mix with unsweetened almond milk because when mixed with water it becomes to frothy. chicken soup taste better with fat free chicken broth. Ouse unflavored in my smoothie mix. powder, yogurt, frozen fruit,ice and diet v8 splash

Wow my insurance paid all but about $500.00. Yes call and ask to speak with DeeDee. She is the surgery coordinator and is awesome with everything. If she is busy say asked to be transferred to her vmail. She will be able to answer all your questions. That way you can see if Baptist is less expensive. -

I had to do my EGD at CMMC only because at that time I chose it. I knew Dr. Cummins was leaving River Oaks so I didn't mind. I did some prep blood at river oaks. I did my ABG and PFT at work, my PCP did my EKG and Chest X-ray in his office. Yes I was the 1st one at Baptist and they did so well. You have that option to go there. When is your surgery date? -

My insurance required me to pay the hospital stay. It was $150. per nights and I stayed 2 nights. What is your insurance requiring?i had to pay it the day of surgery but I pad mine when I went to pre register. -
