Best thing to do is talk with the nut. because not everyone has the same bone structure, and there are different weights for different bone structures. Im 5"4' with a large bone structure and 6 months post op I weigh 155.8 thats 87 lbs down, 150 is the lowest id wanna go. Everyone is different. The BMI scale you get offline is going to just discourage you cause it doesnt go into detail it just bases it off height and weight.

I have the same thing. Just don't make a mistake and sneeze without holding your stomach. I did that and I'm now 6 weeks post op and it still hurts when using that particular muscle. Doctor said that's where they do most of the work. It will get better as the days pass. Good luck.

I would have to agree chantix helped me. I quit one month prior to surgery because i was scared they were going to test me for nicotine in my system. It was hard for a week or so then got easier after knowing that it would be a disaster after surgery if i didnt and risking not being able to get the surgery. I havent picked up a cig Since june 11 and never looked back im 4weeks post op and feel great as far as exercising and not being totally winded. I know you can do it just look at the big picture and what the out come will be.

I came home today and feel better than expected with minimal pain more soreness in my belly.

I am a dependent about to undergo surgery tomorrow at madigan, which is at fort lewis WA. I have mixed emotions but most of all am nervous.
