  2. Tried a search and didn't find an answer so if y'all would be so kind to share what you know I'd appreciate it. I have hav a cough my dear son brought home from school about a week ago. I also have a bouncy ball of blood floating around in my torsou and when I cough, it thinks it's a tennis ball and smashes from side to side, thus beginning the debilitating spasms. I have to try to keep the cough as shallow as possible because of the above, but it's still terribly painful. If I get yes and no answers here I'll call my doc but this might be an easy yes or no, so, do any of you know if children's musinex is allowed?

    Malabsorption

this needs to be reviewed by your doc and nut immediately. not knowing how much fat or what sources its coming from make it difficult to offer any advice here. there are many calorie enhancers with fat as their primary focus but if you take them wrong you risk dumping. ive been dealing with my aons malabsorption issues for almost seven years. i want to reassure you that this can be fixed but you must involve ypur surgeon, a quality nut, and a gastroenterologist. if they cant work together fire them and move on or this will get worse.

honey you need to see your gyno tomorrow or get a new one. you may need a dnc if you have not naturally passed the baby by now. it can be a life threatening condition to you. id also request a blood test. your Iron is probably low and you are likely very anemic which makes you tired. (by the way my sleeve complications are requiring a lot of drugs so i sometimes run my words tohether here. please forgive my poor grammer. im not theidiot i appear). make sure an untrasound is done to ensure the baby is gone before you go further, but if it is, as you expect, i think you need to get the dnc so your bidy dies not experience septic shcok etc. this could ruin your ability to conceive again in the furture, but mostly im worried about your life. as to me, i had one shocking pregnancy naturallt at 42. dh and i were stunned to say the least. we then went to ART and on to IVF. i got pregnant five times, two were twins, but just couldnt hold them. the toll all of that takes on your body is horrific, including sixty lbs being half arsed preggers all the time lol. we chose to end the heartbreak and just focus our joy on our one boy . let me know what your docs say. im worried for you dawn

well first, ive had seven so m pretty good at miscarriage issues. when did yu have the miscarriage? are you certain there was only one and that you do not require a dnc. how far along were you? my aneminea would drop drastically if i was further into thepregnancy.
  7. clean hair is a form of heaven men dont understand lol im gladyou had the energy because while im sureit woreyou out, you probably feel like a million bucks.
  8. i missed that but ive missed a lot lately lol. i hope you are up and around soon hun. i think i hit my breaking point today but i still have weeks to go. i know its hard, but tryto stay strong!
  9. Yea rach! Does this mean you get to go home soon? I have a long ways to,go but they say by the end do next I shall feel much better. Let's hope they are right. Help wise next week is a challenge. My husband is hosting a fund raiser upon Thursday. I think in north Dakota. He kinda hastobethere and the day prior is all security stuff. My anny is on vacation all that week in Florida. I have to see if I can find a mom or dad I trust to take my son to,school, and brijng him home.
  10. I just want to come cuddle your doggies Dixie . Our nannys chihuahua has decided he needs to take care of me all day so I have him on one side, our cotton dog on the other and three CRA somewhere in my bed. It's getting small in here. I've had three doses now and not, much change but he said if it sits in my tummy I can double the dose today which I think I will do. The cough seems tobe my biggest hurdle right now. It's making breathless deep (fear of phonumia?) and it could dislodge my bouncy ballot blood this sending it elsewhere to torture me. I slept from 9 to 6;30 today . That's a first since surgery!
  11. you sweetie. I was going to wait til tomorrow but he called and said to take trek 6 to 12 year old dose.
  12. Ok I'm on it kids. I just thought it might be one of those easy ?s .

    Goodbye Big Girl Clothes!

Yeah Paula! I'm going to have two baskets in my bedroom. Things that don't fit, but might fit my mom (who was close to my starting weight) and then after she has tried them on and rejected anything they will go to a charity party I'm going to host over the holidays where "fashionable" women clean out their closets and bring them to go to women who are trying to find employment and need a starting wardrobe. I'm kinda excited about it .

    Dream Jeans?

Not your daughters jeans. Flattering on a size 2 and a size 20. Order one size smaller than you regularly wear.
  15. We could use some smiles around here. They're calorie and fat free . Today begins the wooden boat festival here in port Townsend and this is the view I see outside my windows. Normally we are among the fray, having a wonderful time, but this year I mist take life easier so I just enjoy the view. What's making you smile today? Dawn
  16. Nurses may I ask your honest opinion? My doc said that after the staple line is encapsulated no I'd tag is needed (and. Since they don't come in rubies or sapphires I'm out:p. But I'm just saying....aside from someone who has extensive work done to or damage to their esophagus, dony you feel pretty comfy placing an ng tube without poking out internal walls within your patient? Maybe my experience is somehow different, but frankly I can place tube blind. It's not that hard if you measure and go carefully? I've placed many of them in babies. It's not fun...but it's doable blind for this silly old banker so would a completely healed up sleeve actually add that much burden to. The job? I'm not asking to be difficult, I really am curious if an adult tube is that much more difficult to place.
  17. Oh rach, I feel for you honey. It was all supposed to be so easy wasn't it . We are both blessed with wonderful spouses it sounds like, and at least we can be thankful about that. I'm stilll at zero energy. I got left at home with two bottles of Water and dh came home to me crying...I wanted one so badly and couldn't open them. He also set my tea six inches too far away so I couldn't drink that. Reaching out with that arm causes spasms. Lol the poor man married a very tough woman and now comes home to milk toast. If you get bored there feel free to join me at our new hospital wing lol. The food and tea isn't bad, you just can't reach it lol

    Beer

My doc told me that he redid a sleeve on a man last year. Chief failing? Six pack of beer a,day which he thought was fine cuz he used to drink a case. We discussed this because champs will come back into my diet, but not daily or weekly where it was, for just this reason.
  19. I've struggled due to complications. Don't focus on the big number now. I have to get 30 a day to avoid hydration via IV. Shoot for that.
  20. Isn't the "blind" risk only a concern until our staples are encapsulated. That as the feeling I got from my doc.

    Getting Very Frustrated

    I'm kinds worried. She disappeared.
  22. You are not alone. You can read my story in the sleeve stories (the story you don't want to hear but should). I've been up and down but more often down. We are finally hiring a full time nurse tomorrow. I'm two weeks out and in constant pain. My baby can't touch me. This has been hell.

    I Can Eat Too Much!

Benjermine, what I read was "I can eat a whole lot more than that and not feel full, barf etc". Early on the food plans are all fairly specific, saying 1/4 to 1/2 cup. If you are following your food plan, how would you know one orr two or three cups didn't fill you up? Don't load your plate and gorge and all these concerns go away just like magic.

    I Can Eat Too Much!

Why are you eating too much? Use portion control and perhaps you'll see it's not much of an issue.
