Favorite post op drink?

What is your favorite post op liquid? You know, the one that you can drink all day and not be sick of the flavor. I finally found a good one. I like to drink Desani Pink Lemondade mixed with water and had my wife buy out the supply at the grocery store the other day. How about you?

I did this too for the first 3 months. Highly recommended because it is low impact, but very effective at burning off the fat. I was probably out on average 1.5 hours every day taking my dog for a walk and got to the point of walking fairly fast. I don't walk so much any more because of running, but I still think it is a really good exercise for anyone after the surgery.

Yes, unfortunately. I now take a sleep aid to help with that. -

I think it is a good idea to wait until you drop weight so you do not injure yourself. However, everyone is different. I waited until I dropped 100+ lb because I did not want to deal with bursitis, knee issues, etc. Started when I hit 225 lb and it was awesome because I actually enjoyed my first run ( which was also a 5 k).

Would you have paid without insurance coverage?

In theory I would self pay, but have no idea where the 20, 000+ would come from. It would take years to save up that amount. By the way, my total billed to insurance was 32, 500. -

I buy them from Target, not sure where you would find them in Canada. If you cannot find them at a grocery store, drive down to Bellingham, WA for some or order online at Amazon. -

Yes, I like those on occasions when I want the extra energy from the added caffeine. I can't drink them all day though. I am thinking about the Mio energy flavors with electrolytes and caffeine. Are those the ones you are talking about? -

Going to try cross fit for the first time this next week. I am a long distance runner as well as a fast 5 k runner. However, I am not very strong due to some lost muscles. What advice do you have for making the most out of crossfit for a person like me?
