    I am also 6 days post op and am still bruised and swollen. However, the swelling has gone down significantly. I am not in a whole lot of pain either. I see my doc for first checkup on the 24th. I have been living on Protein shakes, miso Soup (just the broth), chicken broth, sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello and lots of Water.
