I have not done well with the band at all... due to acid reflux I can't keep enough fill in the band to do much good. I was told that they just leave the unfilled band in rather then remove it! How did that surgery go for you? I would like to get mine removed..I think.

I just stopped by to say hi to my fellow Shrinking Shamrocks and all the other bandsters here. Special K...it looks like you're still doing great. I see you have also had issues with heart burn. I had to have an unfill right before Thanksgiving last year due to HB and by the time I got a little fill again after Christmas I had gained 12 lbs! I have lost most of that again but I still have a problem of knowing when to stop eating!:thumbup: Well ...no matter what...I am so glad I have my band. I may never be skinny but I feel so much better and I can live with a size 16.

Belated Happy Birthday SpecialK! Hope it was a good one. You are doing a fantastic job with the weight loss! Hi Debbie, sounds like we are having the same problems. I can and do eat way to much. I have only lost 37lbs... But without the band I might have gained that much, so I am not giving up! I am convinced that when it warms up so I can get outside I will do better. On the bright side...I can't believe how much better I feel just losing that much! Hello to all the new people!! :thumbup:

I'm feeling tired all the time too,like I just can't get enough sleep. I take a multi vitamin daily and have started back on the protein powder. I'm hoping that will help.:biggrin:

What does your restriction feel like and where do you feel it? Mine is all under my ribs...like a to tight bra. Others say that it is in their chest and feels like a golf ball, so I guess we all feel something different. Now I'm wondering if I have restriction or just need a bigger bra! What do you feel and where??:thumbup:

Hi everyone..I have a question. What does restriction feel like to you? I keep hearing people talk about a tight feeling in their chest. The only thing I feel is under my ribs. It feels like an under wire bra that is way to tight, I have to stand as tall as possible to get any relief. I am beginning to wonder if it is restriction or a medical problem! I have not heard any one else describe it this way. What does yours feel like??:thumbup:

SpecialK, congrats on the 40 lbs! I've only lost 20 but I'm not going to complain as long a the scale is moving down. Isn't that great? I love going out to eat and then eating for the next two days out of the left overs. Now if I could just stop snacking at night I would be doing good!

Thanks Niki...I was having visions of starving and not being able to eat anything. If you can't eat and you're not hungry.... that doesn't seem like a bad thing to me!

ND, welcome to band land! Niki, when you are to tight to get food down what are you feeling? Do you feel hungry and just can't eat or what?

I got mine today, the back wont stay on and the radio wont work! Hope the band holds up better then the free gift.
