Happy Labor Day! I too worked yesterday, so..... in Honer of today I have decided to do NO labor. Deb good job you got your ticker! TM I like the count down, what a good idea!:bounce: I have been browsing the other boards and they are talking about a fill solution that works better then saline. It's called Omnipaque, supposed to be thicker and work better and longer. Have any of you heard anything about it?:cry

OK, here's the scoop. My insurance (BCBS) only requires that I be enrolled in the class...Charlene says that it is a requirement of the bariatric program that I take a class first. I'm guessing that is so if insurance denies your claim you can't ask for a refund! Getting my pantys in a bunch is what I do best TM.:eek: well on the bright side...only 10 more days till my class then she will submit to insurance.....then I will wait some more...:faint: I am so thankful for this group! You guys help me keep what little sanity I have left!:waytogo:

TM, are you saying that I will have to attend all of the nutrition classes before they will submit paperwork to insurance? :faint:

I agree...we have a cozy little group :car: I just tried to get a ticker and it didn't follow me home so I have to try again . I paid the $300 first and just paid the $200 for the nutrition classes about 2 weeks ago. Thats why I am bummed..I thought I just had to be registered for the class, not wait until I took it or I would have done it at the same time I made all the other appointments. I don't think they are very clear on that. Oh well it gives us something else to pass on to help the next person.I'm just feeling cranky!

I would think that after paying them $300 to handle the paper work they could do a better job. We shouldn't have to mess with the Insurance at all. Charlene acted like she didn't want to be bothered with me and my questions. I have paid for the class and scheduled my first one so I don't see why it can't be submitted to insurance...Well I guess there is nothing I can do now but wait on them to decide when to submit them.... and come on here and bitch to you guys. Thanks for listening! It really helps! You're doing great with the weight loss, keep up the good work! At my Doctors appointment last week I had gained 2 Lbs. All I do is eat. :hungry: I don't know how they do the tickers either so maybe some one will tell us.

I finally got through to Charlene this morning and she won't even submit my paper work to my insurance until after I meet with the dietitian on Sept. 10th! Bummer, I wish they would have told me that sooner! I thought as long as I had all the evaluations done I could do the Nutrition classes while I was waiting for approval from Insurance! I guess they want to make sure they get that $200 even if I don't get approved! This is so aggravating!!!

Deb, Right now I seem to be playing phone tag with Charlene...I call and get her voice mail and tell her that I'm calling to see if she has all of my paper work and tell her she can leave a message on my ans.machine because I am leaving for work. She calls back and leaves me her phone number so I can call her but does not say yes or no on the paper work. Duh...how does she think I called her! I will keep trying ! Lady QT I'm glad you're doing so well! We were beginning to wonder where you were. 22 lbs! wow that must feel great! I called BCBS this morning but they haven't got anything from Mt Carmel yet. I guess it's to soon..not even a full week yet. I will keep checking. I was going to call Mt Carmel but couldn't find the number for Charlene..I think that's her name. Who did you call there for progress reports on your case?

I like the idea of a brain band! LOL- I'll bet they will have one someday! Don't you get sick if you eat to much? I was kinda depending on that to keep me on the strait and narrow.:speechles Oh my...I'll never lose if I have to use my willpower, if I had any of that I would not be fat!! Help Deb!! Thanks Deb, good advice. I think I will call Chobans office Friday to see if they submitted the paper work, then the Insurance company Monday or Tuesday to see if they got it. I wonder how Lady Q is doing, we haven't heard from her in a while!

I saw Dr. Choban yesterday and they are submitting all the info to my Insurance company. Now all I have to do is keep my fingers crossed and wait!:faint:

Wow Deb..33.5 lb. Thats great! Can you really eat KFC? I thought you would still be on mushies. Can you feel the band? Are you aware of it at all? What the heck is flouroscopy?
