  1. @shewolf- I contacted my Dr.'s main nurse and she said this was natural and will eventually stop... but it's all hypothetical talk. As in I'm nervous bc it's only been 2 months and I've lost, give or take two-thirds of my hair- so I'm worried if this lasts for another month if I should get a wig. The Dr.'s nurse said it's almost never that serious.. but then again it's "almost"... it's never a definite answer. @Angelica- so rogaine is working??? I was just nervous to use that but will be considering it ASAP @Lacey- I thought about that and a wig!!!!!! @ Alia- I started using a Nioxin shampoo & conditioner..... I also just ordered & tried a Biotin organic type shampoo just to see the results but if you think Nioxin is a better pick then I'll def. go back to using that.. thanks for the advice
  2. Some days I lack getting 60-70grams of protein due to my work schedule but I doubt that would have such an effect to the extent of everything happening.... I was told about AG-pro, also fish oil... Really any suggestions would help- thanks ladies & gents bc I'm freaking out... Oh & this has started probably 6-8 weeks ago now......
  3. I had surgery in the beginning of July & I'm down 70lbs give or take.... I knew some hair loss was going to happen but not the magnitude at which it's happening. I've probably lost 2/3rds of my hair. Is there any treatments, recommendations, etc., any if y'all can suggest??? I'm currently taking 15,000mg of Biotin, Vitamin D, a Multi vitamin, B-12,...
  4. Franfaith- I totally agree!!! I was looking at the incision & thought to myself it kind of reminds me of those decorative scissors that I used as a kid for cutting construction paper & whatnot haha. If it wouldn't be for this main incision, I honestly couldn't even tell that I had surgery. The other cuts almost feel like mosquitoes bites if they do bother me. I had my surgery on the 6th & I'm so worried about blood clots bc they kept stressing that over & over. Thank God the nausea went away- I had to stay an extra day at the hospital bc of it. Feel free to vent aka b***h to me any time this week bc I'm sure we'll be on the same page lol.. Hope ur feeling better
  5. Thanks LookingAhead... I never thought of a heating pad- my mind's been in a daze since the surgery. I feel everything happened so quick & there's a 1,000 things to remember & do in a day. I'm looking forward to this incision healing :/
  6. Hope you feel better soon- the dr.'s main nurse said its only temporary but sheeesh. Have you been running a slight fever? I'm steady around 99.5-99.8
  7. Any suggestions to reduce incision pain (the one where they actually remove your stomach)or back pain?!?! It hurts like hell every time I have to get up out the bed. I tried stacking pillows to be elevated that's didn't help.. Sofa's to low also.. I normally sleep on my stomach & bc of this my back pain is horrendous....
  8. I had mine this past Friday & I'm wondering the same thing... Every time I sip something it happens also... If you find out let me know
  9. Today is the day for me & I'm nervous as hell... Say a prayer please P.s. I'm new on here so bear with me
