when can I drink from a straw again.....
Heyher replied to chocolate_macchiato's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Been using a straw since day two. When I don't I tend to gulp. So the camelback water bottle with the bite valve has been my best option. -

Wow!! You look amazing!! Big big congrats!! -
OMG!! I almost started crying just now. 1x shirts are getting pretty baggy and a lot of my XL shirts are fitting. Also went from 18/20 pants and now 15/16 are giving my soggy bottom. 13/14 are a little snug, but another two inches and they will fit!!! So far I have lost 28" total. Over two feet!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! :-) :-) :-)

I'm one month out today. SW 245 CW 218 GW 150ish Down 27lbs in one month. I'll take it!! :-)

Had mine. Took it out at home. Felt nothing. The tubing is so small it's barely noticeable. I took mine out a day early because it started to fall out. Doc said nothing about it being a problem.

This was over the course of an hour.

First few days I would do 1oz isopure (the clear ones) then try to get 3oz water or diluted white grape juice over the next 45 min.

Heat/ sweating soo much
Heyher replied to JosieMac's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Cold all the time. Also low BP now isn't helping. At three weeks post op it was 105/60.... It's crazy... -
I thought I was having a heart attack
Heyher replied to erp's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh no!!!! Hope she chills out soon. I did something similar. But I didn't have the dual action that you did... I just had to sit up for about 45 minutes until the pain stopped. Hope your feeling better soon!!! -
Can you tolerate the isopure premixed?
-
Thank you!!
-
I accepted it. You should be able to see my food logs on there now.

Thank you!! Just follow docs plans for post op diet. It does suck at first, but it is totally worth it!!

Tada Gan Iarracht/Tada Gan Phian

In Irish folklore tree of live symbolizes heaven and earth. Branches are heaven roots ate earth. It also symbolizes harmony and balance. There are other meanings, but those are the most common. -

Love it!!! Here are a few. Simple trinity or a Celtic knot in the shape of the tree of life. -
2 Weeks Post Op and I am hungry!
Heyher replied to MK1986's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do you have a diet guide from your doc? If so follow what it says. Is it hunger? Or is it acid/reflux? Maybe head hunger. -
I'm stalled :( NEED encouragement!
Heyher replied to TXBell's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Search three week stall. Tons of people have gone through the same thing. Also losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time kind of shocks the body. It does need time to adjust. Are you measuring? While weight might slow or stall from time to time, you could be losing inches. -
(considering) Nose job anyone?
Heyher replied to Banned member's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I want a nose job. More weight I lose, the bigger mine looks. Don't have the fluff surrounding to hide it. It's not huge, but I just don't think it is that feminine. It's a German Irish hybrid, and I'm not loving it. My fiancé tells me I don't need one. But man do I want one. -

Not happy with this before and after pic
Heyher replied to leighleigh's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Uh yeah you can. :-) People who see you basically all day everyday might not notice like others. But look at your stomach. You can see a difference. -
You can't stretch your sleeve. Especially two weeks out on liquids. If you do manage to get that much in, I would worry more about busting the staple line. Soda doesn't stretch the sleeve. Docs advise against due to empty calories. To each their own on that regard. Every doc has their own post op diet plan. So what one members doc recommends, might not be in your docs plan. Always follow your docs plan. Well unless they advise eating 2oz galvanized nails each day. Then I may question... Most people, not all but most, will have a stall at three weeks. No odds are you aren't done losing. Some people can do about any food in moderation and lose/maintain just fine. Some people know there are certain trigger foods. So they choose to not indulge and do just fine as well. Okay I think I'm better.
