I'm so lucky to have him. He is so supportive.

I went to buy new bras and some new work tops today. When I got home my fiancé was being a good sport and looking at my findings. He looked at me and said "your cloths are getting so tiny!" Made my week!!!!

He probably is. :-)

Increased restriction? And 2mo loss
Heyher replied to Heyher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Typically I have been stressed with food lately. Missing the quantity I could eat at a meal. Like no grabbing just one more handful of chips with a sandwich. Now it's about 1/2 a lettuce wrap and I'm done. I'm not cleared from my doc to "go wild" with what I eat. Still on the super high Protein. I'm happy that I'm not wondering where the restriction is though. :-) I can tell the surgery is working for sure when I eat. -
Subway. With the top half of the whole wheat bread taken off. Qdoba less the rice. ( naked burrito bowl w/ chicken & black rice) or wahoos fish taco if any are near by. Then you have a few meals from them.

So here is my dumb question If I ate something that did not sit well and ended up throwing it up, should I remove it from MFP? I mean what do I do if I don't puke it all up? Just record half? Sorry... Just trying to account for all my calories.
-
Well I didn't know. Told you it was stoopid. But I really wasn't sure. :-)

One a day makes petite. They aren't super tiny, but a lot better then the regular full size pills. About 1/2 the size.

I'm two months out tomorrow and today I just couldn't shake this feeling of overwhelming sadness. I'm down 40lbs and 6 away from onederland. I am so pumped about that!! I look at my wedding dress that I'll be wearing in October and I smile. But this feeling of sadness just won't go away. I'm on Zoloft since depression goes hand in hand with ms. I don't have any major issues in my life right now. I just don't get why I'm feeling so sad... Had to get it out there so I'm not dwelling on it.

Well today I shifted from sad to irritable. Ah this roller is getting old. LoL! I miss stable moods more then I miss food!!! LoL!!!!!!

Thank you. I am watching and if the funk gets any deeper or doesn't look like it is easing up I will be calling the doc.

Sorry hit send. When the hormones are a little less crazy you should be more normal. I'm two months out and I'm still having issues with mine...

Hormones are going nuts with the weightloss.

Almost two months out and can wear heels again.

how to measure food?
Heyher replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I use a measuring cup. 1oz volume is different then 1oz by weight. -
Go back to protein drinks. There is the boot camp on here and the pouch test. Those might help kick start and get you back on trap.
-
Start over. Go back to the beginning with protine

I did the same thing. Got a response the same day.

So I'm over 6 weeks out and attempted almonds today. Big mistake... I didn't chew one enough and it caused some discomfort for about 45 min. Well I went to eat my chicken and got one bite down and owewee again. Guess I will be drinking my dinner tonight. Fiancé got my chicken and I get a not so gentle reminder that my tummy is still hurt. :-(
-
One moment of not paying attention sure did mess up my day... But tomorrow is a new day. Things like chicken, tuna, shrimp I seem to do fine with chewing enough... Now being released to "crunchy" foods I really need to pay attention. I'll get it... Just need to be careful.

Learning What Full Is.
Heyher replied to KhadijahRose's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I use measuring cups for my food. I'm six weeks out and can eat 1/3 cup of chicken. One ounce is 1/8 of a cup or 2 tbsp. I prefer to measure by volume rather then weight. 3.5 oz by volume is different then 3.5oz by weight. Since the tummy holds by volume and not weight that one bite difference can mean satisfied or pain/possible vomit.... -
MFP. Love it.
