Need some help with some meal ideas. I had my band done last nov and my weight loss has started to really slow down. I want to try some new meal ideas but find it hard because I live by myself and cooking such a small portion for one is very hard. I get sick of eating leftovers for the following few nights so if anyone has any ideas for quick easy n yummy meals I would love to know.

Ive had my band for just over 7 months now and I am down 37kg (about 81 pounds). It came of really quickly for the first few months but it's slowed right down the last month or two. I know as u weigh less it takes longer to lose but I still would like to lose another 20kg (45 pound), I'm still not exactly small. How quick is everyone else losing, have any of u hit a similar stall?

I am 27 yrs old, I was 26 when I got my band. No I didn't have any major health concerns but had been over weight since I was 11. I had tried every diet in the book with no success so I decided to have the band to AVOID any health issues in he future. I think it is such a wonderful thing that people who can try and try to lose weight with little or no success can now have the opportunity to have the band and get the help they need to improve their health. My only regret is that I didn't do it years ago...

When You Get To Your Goal Weight, How Do You Plan To Reward Your Self??
Em85 replied to Anniie.N's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I've had my band for 7 months and have lost nearly 40kgs, I havnt really rewarded myself yet because I want to still lose a bit more. Sure I've bought new clothes and things along the way but that's just because nothing fits me haha. Watching myself get smaller is a great reward in itself but the one thing I have promised myself when I get to my final goal is a bit of a tuck n lift. It seems some parts of me just don't want to go back into place lol. -
Moving onto solids is nothing to worry about as long as you stick to the rules. Small bites at a time and chew really well, and eat ur meal slowly. I had my band in nov last yr, my first solid was soft white fish but moved to chicken and lean lamb straight after that with no problems.
