I am going on 7 months post surgey, down 119 pounds, feeling a lot better except I am constipated a lot. I take 2 fiber supplements every day, but they don't seem to be helping. I put Metamucil in my water, but no luck. I always have suffered from constipation, but it seems to be worse after the surgery. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was wondering years after the sleeve, what is eating like? Do you still have to eat slow? Can you still not drink while eating? Do you eat more? Just wanted to know what the future holds.

It's been 3 months & I am experiencing a weird feeling, it feels like an sensation to throw up. My mouth waters & it feels like it's in the back of my throat but won't come up. When I eat it feels better but comes back. Does anyone know what this could be?

It's a little over a month out from my surgery, & lately I have been looking very pale. I just started taking vitamins yesterday. I have lost a total of 46 pounds so far.

How do you find out what vitamins you are lacking?

After a couple of days I am having a hard time swallowing my bp meds, it feels like it gets stuck. Is this normal? What should I do?

I got sleeved 4 days ago & I really miss food. I am feeling hungry, I know it is probably mental, but I'm like why did I go through all this to still feel hunger & can't eat. When will I be able to eat food?

I was sleeved on Monday & it's Thursday, definitely feeling like why did I do this. Pain is better, but I'm hungry! I know I can't go back, but feeling depressed. -
I get sleeved on 12-17-12. Does anybody know what it feels like right after? I keep hearing it hurts to drink water. Just wanna know what that is going to be like??

I am supposed to be December 17. I'm excited & scared. I was originally supposed to do it in August but for insurance reasons I had to wait. I was told to drop 40 pounds but of course couldn't. I kept telling myself I'm never gonna eat this way again, like I am mourning food already. I am trying to get my head in the game because its coming. So just pray that everything works out for me. Good luck all you December sleevers!

I was supposed to have surgery tomorrow, but my insurance has a pre-existing condition clause so I have to wait until December. I was looking forward to it, but I'm disappointed. I am going to try & stay positive & start working out, eating better & get my fiances in order. It just sucks because I was looking forward to loosing some weight. Just so sad!

I don't have any kids but I am gonna look into it to see if New Jersey covers it. September will be here before you know it.

Anybody here from New Jersey that has Medicaid. Just want to know if they cover the sleeve, having a lot of issues with my insurance.

So my date is Aug 20 & the doc wants me to lose 30 pounds in 19 days, which is eating only salads & veggies. It's so hard! I feel of I was able to do this I wouldn't need surgery. I have to drink these protein things that are gross & made me sick, I missed a day of work cuz I couldn't leave the toilet. Has anybody else have to do this?
