Any Other Dec 19th Sleevers?
bryant0203 replied to Lauren610's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi from Mississippi!! Was sleeved on the 19th too and doing great!! My doc is being more cautious with me that I think he should. Still on full liquids. I guess I shouldn't complain though...I'm a revision from the lapband and he said he was really concerned about the extensive scar tissue I had. I've also survived my first stall. Thank goodness that's over for now!!! Anyway, hope everyone is doing great!!! -
Really not liking this 3 wk stall!

I'm hating this stall that it appears a lot of folks get at the three week mark. It feels like its never gonna let up. I'm getting my fluids, protein, and exercise. But , man am I frustrated!!!! -

I had a band, too!!! Hate those things. I lived a miserable 6 yrs with the crapband! Hopefully, we'll both break through soon!!! -
Thanks guys! I'm on full liquids and using GNC Total Lean shakes that are 170 calories each. Plus I can have the creamy soups. That's where the cals are coming from. I'm assuming this is good for now. Thanks!!

Hi everyone!!! I'll be 2 wks out tomorrow and am curious about calories. I'm getting the protein and fluids ok, so that's not an issue. I'm sure it's been discussed before and I just haven't found it yet, but about how many calories should I be eating at this point? I'm eating anywhere from 400 to 650 daily. Is this on track?

I'm on the broth, sugar free jello and Popsicle diet and the belly rumbles are crazy!!! I had my surgery on 12/19 too. I see my doc 12/27 and get to move to full liquids then. I wonder if the gasx strips that melt on your tongue would help with these crazy rumbles?? Anybody tried it or asked your doc about it?
