Great job on the weight loss. I love reading others success stories. We have almost the same starting weight. When i started my 6 month with a nutritionist i was 258 lbs. I was 248 the morning of my surgery on 2/22 and I am now 239 lbs.

I am starting my new year of great. I received my 2nd fill (9cc and trust i feel the restriction i dont need any more at this point) right after Thanksgiving and I am so proud of myself i have went from 257 to 236 since my surgery on 8/20. Hope all of the rest of ur journeys are going as well as mine and to succeed.

It went and got my first fill today and I feel great. It took less than 10 seconds!!!!! Very Painless u dont feel a thing. Today my nurse gave me 5cc, liquid diet for 24 hrs and the mushy foods for 24 hrs. They say by Sunday I can eat regular food.
My pre surgery weight was 257 and i am down to 240=17lbs total of baggage that I dnt need!!! Love getting healthy!!!!!!!

I get my first fill on 9/21 and im still doing my walking. I go back to work on Monday so I will be goin to the gym early in the morning so I can have a positive attitude in my weight loss journey and release some stress too.

Had my first follow up appointment and everything looks great. I have lost a total of 9lbs and I am able to eat mushie foods starting today YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! because I am so HUNGRY. I will have to say still have disconformt from gas but I got me sme gas relief med to help wit that.

Good Morning All.
Hope all is having a great morning. I have am feeling good and would have to say I am so shocked I am not feeling as hungry as I thought I would so glad about that. When I do feel a little hungry I eat SF popsicle and drink a bottle of Water and I am fine.
Today I put my lil chunky monkey in her stroller (well my mom helped cuz i cant lift her) and we went walkin. We walked for almost an hour and didnt realize it but I felt good and no pain at all. So hopefully when I go for my wk follow up on Monday I would have lost a few pounds, but if not I will NOT let that discourage me in getting this weight off just means I will have to work a little harder.

I am 3 days into my liquid diet after surgery and have been drinking all my fluids but been feelin a little drained but I was told by my nurse there will be a few days my energy level will be a little down. But i do still get up and walk as told. Today as i stated yesterday i will walk to the mailbox which I DID and i am very proud of my self. I also when i get done drinking Water i make my self get up and walk to through away the bottle. So i am feeling good. I actually cant wait until i am able to go back to the gym so i can really get fit.

Today has been my second day since having my surgery and I feel great. I havent started feeling hungry for food as of yet, but I have been drinking a lot of Water, and broth because my throat is sooooo dry i know it says dnt drink it too cold but i have to have it a lil cold.
Now I do still get a little discomfort from the gas bubbles, so I only take my meds when I really feel pain and will say that is some good sleep lololololol. But I am walking around a lot and tomorrow I will be walking to the mailbox just to get a little more distance but not over due it. But my daughter is havin a fit because I cant pick her up ( 8 months) my little chuncky monkey is not having it lololol.

Way to go as far as moving around and getting up! I am 5 days post op and went back to work yesterday! It was not too bad, today was actually a little worse because I pushed it yesterday but I am glad I am up and walking most of the day... I too have a little one at home, well a 4 yr old and a 17 month old and it is challenging! Sit on the couch and let your little one sit on you that way, it has worked better for me than just denying her as she had no part in that!
I still have gas bubbles and discomfort, but I also had a hernia repaired at the same time so I wonder if it is harder or not but I have no idea! I wish you the best and continue the great job so far! We will all get there and the future is so much brighter for us now!

Congrats to you both, this journey has been a wonderful thing for me. I've learned to eat healthy. I have been banded for 3 months and have not had a fill yet. I am 36 pounds down. I walk at least 20 minutes each day and I also work out on my glider in the evening. I am currently training for a 5k run. something that I want to accomplish before I reach my goal.
