I searched sushi in VST search bar and found a few threads This was in one of them referencing the mushy stage: Not sure if you're a sushi fan but something I did was get sushimi pieces and finely chopped it - it looked like spicy tuna they put in the rolls but it was just the raw fish finally chopped and is really good. (kind of made me feel normal regarding eating too). I love love love sushimi and before I realized I was 8 weeks pregnant with twins I was having it weekly, must have been craving the protein!

Is This True? I Need Help Here Please.
petite-size-me! replied to Karen2012's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tamales in general probably aren't on the menu during weight loss so probably not in the early stages after surgery. Probably best to get a list of ok foods from your NUT and just stick to that. Specifically, flour, rice, pasta-- no go for most sleevers. -
What Do You Want To Do When You Are Healthier?
petite-size-me! replied to Shape_Shifter's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
These are all great and I have laughed out loud a few times-- here are mine-- Go shopping with my girlfriends, not make up excuses when they ask because I don't want them running to grab the next size up :-/ Take the burlesque classes with a friend who is also a happily long time married friend-- she is fit I am not-- we both want spicier bedroom times with hubby! She keeps sending me info, I keep pushing it into junk mail... *blush* be lifted against the wall for a bit of fun with hubby, it's been years!! Be carried to bed Being in Australia, I miss lane Bryant, particularly the low rise cotton panties-- try finding quality plus size clothes here, pft!-- so here's to after 8 years-- buying Australian knickers cause I can!! Going to the gym and NOT having everyone remember me! Currently I'm the fat American that's here everyday... Don't all skinny people look the same? I certainly don't remember them! Bahaha Do the 1000 steps in rowville cause I like the burn!! I do, but currently I like to breathe more!! PP that does yoga-- I do balance which is a cross yoga, Pilates, balance class set to music. I'm so strong and flexible-- but I can't wait to not modify around my belly! And for my warrior poses to look less sumo like! Another PP-- I married my crush Australian accent and 12 years since we met and I still get shivers when he whispers into my neck! Can't wait til I feel that real sexy lady come out to play! Btw-- he married his American crush-- lucky dog! -
Is This What Dumping Syndrome Is Going To Be Like
petite-size-me! replied to newgrandmother's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can have it, but it's not as common. I had an episode of dumping in the hospital when I drank sustagen. I drink and within minutes, sweaty, nauseous, head spin, diahrea! Took minutes to go thru me, which is what dumping is, items moving far too quickly thru your digestive system. Can happen to anyone, even without WLS but is considered common with RNY. -
Band To Sleeve Revision
petite-size-me! replied to KristiP's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Hi! I'm an American expat in Melbourne 8 years now. What a process to get you here! I saw Mr. Adam Skidmore in beaumaris. I 'think' he removes bands and does sleeves at the same time. I see him tomorrow and can ask.. The sleeve is different to any other tool you have ever had! You can do this! Pm me if you want to chat with a local -
Calories And Carbs
petite-size-me! replied to HalfTheWoman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Really depends on you and your activity level. You need natural carbs from legumes and low gi veggies, you should avoid highly processed carbs in breads and such like. -
Breast Question For Those Who Have Had A Breast Lift Or Reduction Prior To Surgery?
petite-size-me! replied to Kiki Von Moonshine's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
My surgeon said wait a year (plastic surgeon). I have been reading online that waiting up to 2 years is the go. Instant gratification is great (I'm in desperate need of a reduction and lift) but getting the life long result is what I am waiting for! -
I think u should call your surgeon and talk it through. Find out what they think in your situation and be prepared to stick to what you are told
-
You look fantastic!! And you did it your way! What works for your! Fantastic!! Too many times we are put into plans or boxes that don't suit us and we jump straight in and then call ourselves failures, when really it wasn't that we weren't working the plan but the plan wasn't working for us! Good on u for stepping outside the box! I was exercising 4-6 times a week before surgery and can't wait to get back to it! When I do, bring on my legumes and veggies! (after Protein, lol) Keep up the good work hot stuff!!

Share Goal Weight Fantasy... Evil Ones Welcome ;-)
petite-size-me! replied to loveoften's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Well, if we are letting our inner feline out... The ex is always an easy target! Lol mine lives in the USA, so next time I see him I will be at goal weight. But I have this one friend--- super competitive and showy-- I love her for lots of reasons-- but, I can't wait to weigh less than her and rock her favorite fitness class! At 80 lbs overweight and her at goal she is always asking me to Go with her and encourages me to take the low options-- oh, I'm gonna go-- but there ain't gonna be no low options!!! I cut my hair from my bum to my shoulders recently and she nearly died... My hair grows very fast... So at goal I'm sure it will be long enough to flick as I smile!! Lol -

When Did You Start Having Gallbladder Attacks?
petite-size-me! replied to mesaucedo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I has my first attack 3 weeks after giving birth to my twins. I had my sleeve almost exactly 2 years later and I did have my gallbladder out at the same time. No extra pain but I do have really loose bowels, most likely related to the gallbladder going. Not everyone has gallbladder issues, so I see why they don't do it for everyone, but if you have symptomatic stones, then why not? Same laparoscopic surgery as sleeve. That said, if I did it over again, I wouldn't have done the ingroinal hernias with any other surgery. The healing is so painful and prolonged. I could be walking and feeling well by now if not for the hernias. -

June Sleever's - July
petite-size-me! replied to Back~To~Amy's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeves June 26. I have lost 12 kilos or 26 lbs. 3 and a bit weeks out. On mushy- soft food. Over refried beans! My main issue ATM (other than complications healing from open hernia surgery) is feeling like eating. I don't. Still using Protein shakes at least 2 x per day. If I just had those 2 shakes plus Water and icy poles, I would be perfectly happy! Forced a couple of bites of greek yogurt at lunch time with One of those cheese triangles with a cow on it. Also 2 bites of fish and 2 bites of potato at dinner. How are you guys doing? NUT wants me to get more food in..... -
