[color=#ee82ee]My name is Andrea, and after first finding out about the lapband 2 years ago, I contemplated on the surgery and attended the seminar, where at that time my husband was not happy about it and I was not sure, once again I went back into short lived diets, and weight loss programs, none in which included a concreat PLAN! The straw that broke the camels back was my physical interaction with my 9year old son and physically not being able to do it, wearing my moo-moo gowns and knees and back were killing me, I felt awful. I waited until 2011of April where again I decided that I was going to go through with it. I was determined now after a year of failure and 20-30 pounds later, I had ran out of options and I am not a fan of surgery especially at my age.I finally started to get the ball rolling, and my husband finally jumped on board :wub: through the begining process to support me, :wub: and support is a very important KEY to this process.My process from 04/15/11 to now has been GREAT and I have learned so much and continue to learn. I pray that tht everything continues to go great. I have not had a fill yet But in 2 months my surgeon will see if there is a need to give me a FILL. I am truly happy on this journey because being overweight is not fun in so so so so many ways. It literally takes a toll on you, and I will continue to hope and pray for a good outcome.F.Y.I, I am feeling much better so far though. ;) [/color]
