It is good to not be in the hospital but at the same time I miss the great service! All my nurses rocked. I just woke up and feel as is I have more energy already. Pain is 3/10. And only when I move. I hold my largest incision seems to help. I'm not hungry have no trouble getting the Gatorade and or Water down. I have the week off so I'm just gonna take it easy.

In 24 hours i get 2.5 water bottles. Thats 63 ounces. That gave me a great one at the hospital. I am only concentrating on stayin hydrated this is the mission.

Oh and I was able to sleep on my side last night so I got decent sleep!

I just got home today. I am super tired. Only focusing on hydrating until my follow up next Thursday. 32 oz of g2! The rest Water. That's my plan!

No drains here. Just gas after sipping!

I feel good the leak test upper GI is gross! I have no hunger but I am eating broth and Jello. liquids are going down good but I have gas back pain. I'm burping but not tooting. Overal so far so good!

Excuse my language but f over ther counter! I am a sufferer and there are several things. Maxalt 10mg sublingual, Imitrex offer a subq self injection or if you want an anti inflam ibrofen type try Toradol also available injection. All these require scripts. But aren't oral so should be ok!

I've had mirena for three years. My doc checked strings 6 weeks after placement and three months after and yearly at annuals. I have never checked for them myself nor can my bf feel them. Everyone is different this is my relationship with the device. Also I have no children, my doc was happy to put it in. I have small fibroids and migraines and cannot take the pill because of the estrogen and the combo pills make migraine suffers more prone to strokes. So it was an iud or the mini pill. My. Preference is to go without however the fibroids make that impossible right now.

Hi I have a quick question. I know 99 percent of docs say no pill NSAIDs. What about injectables? Has anyone received Toradol which can be given in a large muscle? I'm trying to find an option for my awful cramps. I cannot take narcotics and my beloved Advil! Oh dang! Thanks!

Go ask for a shot of Toradol it's an anti inflammatory.

That's crazy the brain needs something!

My thoughts are stop for know until I get the ok to start again. I get really bad cramps I have fibroids that fight with my mirena and it's like a mini war down there. I just wanted to make sure I had An option non narcotic and Tylenol does nothing. I think my uterus laughs at Tylenol!

@zeta the gallbladder comment is to cover for the surgery and time away from work not the actual losing of the weight.

I am 5"8 I began this at 233. Had a food funeral gained a few pounds. I'm on the pre op diet. Surgery is Thursday 8am, I weigh 229 today expect to be 225 or 223 surgery date. I am 36 years old and goal weight is 170. At 206 I wore a size 12 so I should be a comfortable "healthy" at 175.

Sample some isopure rtd flavors. They have 40g of protein a little like crystal light with more benefits. I like alpine punch. Some don't care for them but for pre op it's a savior!

My very first appointment this was all done on the same day!

My doc does a manditory 2 day stay. I think I'll need it.
