Starting weight 236. 5 foot 8. Current weight 184 and a BMI of 29! Yay! I'm on the right.

@juny just think positive and stick to the plan. Food gets better and it's all about trying new things. Something's I can't eat like sweets just don't work... That's a good thing

I am 2 weeks post op and have hit a stall! Scale the same for four days. I've heard increase calories, decrease calories, exercise, what has worked for you?! Looking forward to your responses!

Hi all! I must say I'm doing pretty well. Down to two Tylenol every other day. Stomach is still swollen. No more gas. I can sleep on my tummy. Just missing a little fat like a piece of meat! I can't wait until January! Hope everyone else is doing as amazing as I am!!

Hi. I've lost 16 pounds since surgery. So I'm doing ok. When I stall a little bit I find I need to get more fluids. I think January I'll feel far enough removed to regain a normal life! Here are my stats: 236 first appt 226 day of surgery August 16 211 current weight 5'8"

Hi. I use a pair of spanx that look like a tank top. I sleep in and wear it everywhere. You can buy them. I bought a belly binder it was too small.

Hi ladies. Congrats. I'm notice further along than you I am 10 days post op. I have no more gas or bloating. I find a compression wrap helps on the tummy. I am tired I am off pain meds just on Tylenol and surprised how well it works! Haven't needed the zofran in days. I use tums now because I get really violent ttummy rumbles at the end of the night. I am taking a ppi. You'll a do great I can't wait until I'm five months out! Day 1 235 Day of surgery 226 Day 10 post op 215.3

Has been more difficult than I thought it would be. I was so excited to have cream Soups and some version of food! It's been difficult my sleeve is starting to to speak to me! Very little gives me what im guessing is now full. I'm only starting with 1/3-1/2 cup. Thanks!

I am not hungry at all! However I am having mini dreams of butter crossants, cheeses, mustard, greens and turkey. But in these dreams I am always making the sandwiches for other people! I have no temptation to cheat as I know this is the most important time being 5 days post. It's just weird! Lol

I cut it with water. But I actually am one of the rare ones that like it! Alpine punch is my fav!

I still like the Isopure ready to drink bottles I mix it with water. The bottle has 40g of protein and it's the high quality good stuff the whey isolate protein. That will get you halfway through your protein in one day! I think it taste better than G2!

Hi. I'll be 1 week out on Thursday and plan to use almond milk with my protein shakes. My nut only advice against because reg milk has higher Protien.

Can I ask...did you have reflux prior to surgery? I have maybe had heartburn twice in my life but as a precaution I am on a ppi for two months. I take it out of the capsule and take it at the same time every. Morning!

Hi. I'm 4-5 days out too! I can only have clears until day 7 post op appointment. I would kill for a Protein shake! If you are using a straw try with out and maybe go even slower if you can! You can do it!! How's your pain??

Surgery 8/16 8am. Initial weight 236 surgery weight 224. Today I weigh 221.3

I had surgery here in the states saw my surgeon the day of, the next and he personally discharged me. My stay was not overnight it was a standard two night stay. I have no complications and I am only five days post. I wouldn't have done this if they attempted to discharge me the next day! I had surgery Thursday at 8am and was discharged Saturday at 12 noon. I loved the attention and service of my nurses and doctors. Everyone is different. What's the follow up care like for your surgery of done in Mexico? I've seen people on here with wonderful experiences with their procedures done south of the border. Good luck to you! I'm sure you'll find wonderful info!

Liquid BM but that is to be expected right? liquids in liquids out? It's was once last night and once this morning. I am getting in about 44oz of Water adding more G2 today just in case this is diarreha I don't want to get dehydrated. I'm hoping it is just my body's way of getting my small and large intestines back in the grove of things....moving!! Thanks! I am slightly sore at the largest incision site. Other than that I feel done. I need to get up and walk more but I'm so tired!!

I have gas x strips and they have helped some, I have walked, I feel like lying on my belly with a pillow and this might help....Urgh so gassy!

My doc said ibprophen is a go after three months. I had liquid ibprophen in the hospital.

This August sleever is doing well. Just need to expel some gas! I was just the other day August 16, 2012! I'm home on a heating pad and sipping!!
