They might, but you're not. That kind if thinking is what happens when people, who are trained to find problems and solve them, can't. They start to look for other solutions that become a slippery slope. Listen to your body, your wisdom and persist. And trust your mother I'm hoping for a fast next step. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

I had a friend who went through this for far too long. Too many drugs. Missed a work promotion, etc. They even sent her for psych counseling. Finally she switched Gastro docs. The new doc did exploratory surgery and found adhesions on the outside of her stomach and intestine. These don't show up when you scope the inside! She'd had a car accident 2 years prior and had internal damage that went undiagnosed. Cleaned the adhesions and bam! No drugs, no pain, vomitting. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

I'd go with hormones. I have a lot of thick hair and I lost handfuls of hair postpartum while breast feeding and then again when I stopped. I've never been vitamin/mineral deficient. Fat stores a lot of estrogen that gets released in weight loss. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

I really enjoyed watching the surgery and the surgeon interview. Is it just me or is the radiologist condesending? I felt myself reacting to him. Just want perspective. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX -

There are laws in every state as to how long a practitioner has to respond to a Release of Information. I agree with pp that you can call and make an appointment to review/copy your chart. That is with-in your rights. HIPPA isn't just a bunch of letters strung together. Sorry for the stress. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

I'm grateful to have some pre-op stuff to do next week (labs and a PA-C meeting). This sitting in neutral for two weeks might give me enough time to get nervous. Thankfully I've got a busy life with work and kids and summer fun! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX -

I wonder how resting metabolic rate plays into stalling. (I am pre-op so only having a surgery stall. J/k. Lol) when the Dr tested my metabolic rate it came back that I burn thousands of calories at rest! I have a good metabolism if those tests are at all accurate. I kinda take it with a grain of salt, though. I'll be curious to see just what kind of looser I am. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

See people posting about having a stall or a really bad stall. I understand this means they've stopped weight loss for a period of time. This is different than slowing down? How does a person know they have stalled? By time? life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
