Yes it can take a few days or weeks for a fill to take effect. Plus other factors can tighten your band, stress, tom, sinuses, etc. I fine that after a fill I have to relearn how to eat, small bites, etc... Your bites might be small but are they small enough? I eat Protein first if you are doing mushies, greek yogurt, soft cheese, tuna salad are all good choices. Good luck.

Definately call your doctor. My band gets tight whenever my allergies act up, sinus draining....ugggh. You might need a small unfill till you get better. Take care.

Don't give up on Lobster!!! It might have been the way it was cooked, the loberst itself, or just your band for the day. I can eat anything most days but occationaly I will have something not work well with my band at that moment. The next time, no problem. The band likes to keep us guessing!

Ok so you have heard the I'm sorries......and now what to do. First, swallow hard and step on the scale.... ok that's over with. Now you know where you are at. Time to put you first!!!! Start by logging your food. I suggest 1200 to 1500 calories a day, high Protein, about 70g. And start exercising, whatever works for you. You can do this, IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!!!!!! Did you hear me? Missy said it best when she said " Maybe appease the physical hunger is a better word?". My band appeases my physical hunger. It is a great tool, however it does not 'fix' the head hunger. That is up to us! It also doesn't make our food choices. That is up to us! If we can manage the food choices and head hunger then we are on our way!!!!!
