How Many Calories Do You Take In A Day

Chances are you ate too big a bit too fast. It happens, I've been banded 9 months and still catch myself taking too big a bit too fast. If you still hurt after 24hrs liquids be sure to call your doctor.

Sounds like you irritated your band. Might want to call your doctor and ask, but mean time I would do liquids for 24 hours then try mushies again. Good luck.

Can You Eat Steak??
♕ajtexas♕ replied to spoiltmom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds like the quality of the steak is not tender enough. I always order the highest quality steak, yes I spoil myself. I would try another type of steak or steakhouse. Good luck. -
There are many factors that effect the band, stress, hydration, sinuses, tom just to name a few. The band is like a toddler you never know what each day will bring....

This morning I stood on my scale and I am down 2 pounds. Now, this is unofficial as I only count my doctors weigh in as official. But, what it tells me is I was a success over the Thanksgiving holiday. What did I do? Well, I had a wonderful meal with my family, turkey, stuffing, yams, green Beans and pumpkin pie. So, why was I successful? I had lap-band portions and I took small bites, chewed a bunch and waited 1 minute between bites. I even had a glass of wine before dinner. I just want any newly banded or thinking about getting banded person to know that you can be successful during the holidays. Just create a game plan and STICK TO IT!

All I can say is welcome to bandster hell... 4 weeks post op can be tuff, no restriction... so what to do? I drank alot, whenever I felt hungry i drank 8ozs Water and if i was still hungry i ate. Most times the water was enough. I also preoccupied myself, went for walks, did crafts anything but eat. Its not easy, but its not forever either. You will survive. Good luck.

Girlfriend, you will knock them died at hubby's holiday party!!!!!! You look awesome! -
I understand your frustration. My doctor told me that you often feel too loose after an unfill, said it was more a head game than anything. Talk with your nutritionist about it. Don't worry you are doing great, 2lbs is nothing probably Water weight. Good luck to you.

A Few Questions I Have About This Hole Thing And Lap Band Slipage
♕ajtexas♕ replied to mike gard's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Mike, The post op diet is for your body to heal, not for weight loss. Eating food might cause your stitches to tear and band slip. Call your doctor and tell them, they will advise you from there. -
If You Could Only Give One Piece Of Advice To A New Bandit What Would It Be?
♕ajtexas♕ replied to toritz's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
The one thing would be, follow your doctors orders and advise. Make this your lifestyle and not another diet. Oh crap, thats 2 things.... Good luck to you!
