Some doctors don't want you to lose more than 2 lbs a week. In 2 months you are down 27 lbs which is a great weight loss. Congratulations. Stay steady on your eating habits, pick up some walking and inches will drop off first, then your weight will come down. It's a slow process and we all have to learn to eat properly. It's for us and good health for our future. Keeo the faith.

Motts apple sauce from Walmart, cheap and very low calorie. I only use a tablespoon or so.

Sip lots of water. Try and stay on liquids for a few days until you feel normal again. Walk for exercise.Take your pain meds. Take some Tums daily for a few days.

I told my fellow co-workers who see me all the time. Then they told the World! -
I actually had it easy compared to most. Gas pain overnight and gone. I probably was bothered more from hernia fix under breastbone area than the band. Take your pain meds as directed. Walk if you have gas pains and use a heating pad to help get rid of gas. Should have done the band years ago. Sip your Water.

Ask for a heating pad. Take your pain meds as often as you can. If you can walk, Please walk even if in your room, it will hep relieve the gas. SIP your Water. Hugs -

And I used a frozen can of tomato sauce under the arch area and it helped relieve my plantar problems. I also saw a chriopractor (who specializes in sports medicine) and she did wonders for instant relief. Since I've lost over 50 pounds the discomfort hasn't been an issue.

My BCBS Anthem pays for all my fills and no copayment. Guess fills were included in the surgery band cost. -

I go to Dr Thoman in Santa Barbara (across the street from Cottage Hospital). I see him again for my 2nd fill on October 30.
