I try to eyeball my food because I know my sleeve holds around 6 ounces of liquid and 3 ounces of solids. So if I eat scrambled eggs for Breakfast I cook only one egg and add cheese and its the perfect amount. I am going to be getting a scale to weigh my meat. I was and sometimes still over eat. If its causing you anxiety I would call your doc to be safe. I was in actual pain the first 4 days then I stopped my medication. After that I was sore another 2 Weeks...give yourself credit you've gone through major surgery and your body is not only recovering but its losing weight quickly....hope you feel better soon! Any of you just sit down and eat a little bit of your favorite ice cream....I had some rocky road less than a 4th of a cup and it was amazing. Each person is different. I'm 4 Weeks out and only down 22lbs. They say low bmi'ers lose slower. I have a lower bmi so I expected it. The slower you lose the less loose skin you will have that's how I stop myself from getting depressed Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

Its hard. What you are going through is normal. If its not mind hunger and you actually hear growling and have hunger pains its acid reflux/heart burn. I didn't believe that when people told me that until I started my acid reflux pills and it went away. I still hear the growling and my doc said its normal. I don't think its anyones fault except the surgeons...fact of the matter is the surgeons in Mexico who deal with specifically weightloss surgery do not have many guidelines. its the surgeons job to make sure that we are fit for the surgery cuz its not for everyone. I feel there should be more guidelines than just being fat. Same thing goes for America. My dad was sleeved and was in icu for a month and was on his death bed 3 Weeks of that month and he was sleeved in America. **** happens no matter where you go. My point was do your research and if there are no guidelines for surgery to be aware. I see your point most of the best doctors in the world are not from America. Just be cautious and remember to research your physicians and ask people about there experiences and complication....I researched dr. rod before stating my opinion and no way do I recommend anyone going to him there should be 1 out of 100 complications for surgeons on this surgery not 1 out of 10. I paid 20,000 for my surgery and have had an amazing recovery. I am sorry for what you experienced but let this be a lesson to those who want to not "go through loops" to have their surgery. There are reasons why insurance companies and doctors charge what they charge and have rules like they do. I researched my doctor plus he sleeved 2 people I know. My husband does the same exact thing. He let me sleep in a few mornings ago and I woke up to all of my kids eating my Protein bars which are 12.00 for 4! Hubby was too lazy to make them something. we go through crystal light like crazy I don't mind it tho cuz the kids think its kool aid so its much healthier for them. Is it just me or have some of you been an emotional wreck since your surgery. I have no patience with my kids, husband, or my animals. I feel like i'm on my cycle all the time even tho I've had a hysterectomy. Gets very frustrating Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

I've learned with my workout routine if I go to the gym I get bored and quit before I should. every other day when my workout buddy and I walk our 4 miles we find a spot that we want to walk to for example we walked out of our city into another city...was only 4 miles but we did it and were proud! In two days we will find another spot and walk there. I'm 3 1/2 Weeks out of surgery and am amazed I can walk this far. Any other workout ideas to do that are not in a gym? I've not had energy since surgery 6-25. I went to water aerobics today and when I got home I have felt like a could run a marathon i'm only 21 lbs down but feel like I did when I was a cheer leader in hs. Its an amazing feeling when you not only see your body change but when you feel healthy again. Best thing I could have ever done <3

I just bought a small can to try the powder out I usually use the Atkins shakes cuz I can tolerate their taste. Any advice on jillians?

They have 15g per scoop so not as much as the others. I tried those can't tolerate the taste. both of them make me gag. The only thing I've been able to tolerate are the Atkins shakes. Id really like to find something else that I can tolerate since the Atkins are only 15g Protein. I've been getting my protein in with two cans of tuna a day and 2 Atkins shakes a day plus my Water and fruits lol...its amazing how addicted to labels I've become lol Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST
