  6. Its an amazing feeling when hubby says wow you FEEL smaller when he hugs you...my husband noticed two Weeks after surgery...then our first time being intimate I had lost 22 pounds by then and my confidence soured when I didn't get so winded lmao Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST
  7. I'm not allowed to eat 30 min prior during and 30 min after. Occasionally depending on what I eat of my mouth is dry I will take a tiny sip to coat it. Its very hard to get use to i'm 5 Weeks out and I still struggle. I recommend following docs orders cuz he knows your sleeve better than anyone..hang in there it gets easy and will eventually become habit for you..good luck Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

    Victory

Thank you i'm very proud because prior to surgery I did nothing but sit on my butt on the couch eating fried foods and soda pop. Now I actually look forward too my walks. We go to our high school track and while me and hubby walk kids run and play so we all get exercise...the sleeve is the best thing that I've done not just for me but for my family too Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

    How Often Do You Eat

I don't ever feel hungry but you still get the hunger growls some people say its indigestion or acid reflux. Early out you still feel hungry cuz the grehlin is still in your system. The mind hunger sure plays tricks on you and can make you think you are hungry. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

    Taco Salad?

I eat lettuce but very minimal. I have been one of those lucky ones who can handle any food but sausage. I can handle the lettuce fine except that it constipates me if I eat it often. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST
  14. I only get the nausea when I drink any of my Atkins shakes. I've always been able to tolerate them and I still can choke them down but about half way through it i'm nauseated...any advice? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

    Nausea Out Of Nowhere

Thank you. I want to try the nectar I've not used it yet. What's weird is up until now I've been guzzling the shakes with no problem....hope its just a bug or temporary thing lol Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST
  16. You can be knowledgeable and give great advice. my point is there are people who think they know it all and think they have room to be rude cuz someones not on their recovery path. I love getting advice from most people on here and I really love this forum. But those very few people who feel like every one should be doing what they are doing and when they don't they scold them. the last I noticed is not a single nut or surgeon have had their patients on the same exact recovery. I don't claim to know it all and I don't claim to be perfect...I eat and drink things I shouldn't very rarely but I still do it and my weightloss has been great. As I've said in other posts...be respectful and informative not judgmental and rude! Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST
  17. I was a major soda drinker preop. I gave it up 2 Weeks prior to surgery June 25th. Ive taken a sip of it last week and it tasted awful. I feel better and more energy than I ever have til I took that sip made me feel sluggish. my nut and doc said its safe to introduce carbonation 6 months out. there is no risk of harming your sleeve with carbonation they warn you away cuz of gas and discomfort. Good luck to you Sent from my DROID BIONIC using VST

  22. Some people that I told were like why get the surgery why not diet and exercise.....really hard to get someone who does not have a food addiction to understand. Its even harder to get someone who has never been obese to understand. I just tell people if I could stick to a diet I would...but I can't. Even today a month out of surgery I struggle.
