Like cfmom stated I am only allowed shake and water. Now that is hard. Stay strong and keep in mind why we are doing it. It is not easy but stay strong. It is all temporary. I am on day 5 and still feel like you do. It is getting better day by day. The 8 lbs I have lost is a plus too. -

I am looking forward to just Living Life. Riding a bike with my son or roller blading. Wearing heels without my knees hurting. Getting a booth at a restaurant instead of a table. Shopping in a regular clothing store. Not wearing black all the time. Being able to wear tight jeans that are meant to be tight and not because they are too small. -
I just started yesterday on my 2week preop diet and already vomited. Is this what I have to look forward to for 2 weeks. I can Only have shakes and water by the way! I need tips please.

I have lost eight pound so far and on day 4. The bariactric nurse said if I am losing 2 lbs a day, I am doing everything right. So does this mean my liver is shrinking too. Is there a set amount of weight anyone's dic wants them to lose? -

Thanks ladies it just freaked me out. I thought she was letting me know it is a must to lose 2 lbs a day. I only lost one moe pound for today. So I was trying to work out and stuff to lose the other pound. -

I am getting banded July 11 too. I am so excited. How is your preop diet going? What are you allowed to have? I can have 3 shake and Water only. But it is all good because it is worth it whatever I have to do. Did have a moment of weakness for some egg drop Soup, but I made it through. -

Smellslikecoffee I have lost a total of 8 lbs and I am on day 4 of liquid diet. Today is going to really be a test because it is the weekend. I have begged my husband to go get me some egg drop soup. I drink the EAS Advantedge Carb Control shakes. Walmart sell them or Publix. Propel water also. I have to do 2 weeks of liquids and surgery is July 11. I have 10 days to go. -

I feel like a mad woman. I am on day 3 of liquid diet and I feel nauseous. I swear if I drink another shake or drop of water I am going to puke. My doctor is very strict, 3 shakes a day and water only. No broth, no pudding or jello. I am having it rough you all. I think if I was able to gave other things it would nt be this bad. -

Tricia hang in there. I know how u feel I am on day 3 and I am struggling. Drink tons of water and sleep as much as possible. Be ware u could have diarrhea or constipation with the protein intakes because u r not getting anything else. I learned that the hard way. -
Thanks everyone. I think I got sick because I was so hungry. Today I am fine so far. We will see if that changes after work.

I am currently on my diet of EAS Advantedge carb control shakes and water or crystal light. That is all I can have. So I have invented a crystal light slushy to help. Blend I've with a single serve pack of crystal light and enjoy with a spoon. -
It is not the taste of the shake so much, but the lack of food. I thought I would be able to have broth and Jello but he said no.
