When I had my gallbladder removed last year I had a pretty cool surgeon who brought me a picture of it and he put a quarter next to one of the stones for size comparison and they were the same size. Not real sure I'd want to "flush" 10 of those out of my body

Has anyone seen liquid calcium citrate with d3 ? Like previous poster said all these hummus and chewables are really going to add up to alot of cals and carbs. When are most people released to using pill form an what about just chunking up the horse pills and taking just a small piece at a time?

Body fortress has at least two different whey protein shakes... Look for the one that says isolate it has only 2 carbs as opposed to 8 in the whey protein concentrate

Try "soy vay island teriyaki marinade" so wonder full on grilled chicken kabobs . Marinate the chicken in it then baste as you grill chicken comes out super tender and moist

On the other hand mammameg I am preop as well just waiting on insurance approval my children are almost 4 and 2.5 and I'm doing this NOW! Of course I share your fears: what if something happens? Etc etc. but what happens if I do nothing ? How long before I eat myself in to a stroke or heart attack or diabetes? How am I going to help them steer clear of obesity if I can't do it myself. I'm opting for the tool for my family not just for me , doing it now just extends the time I'll have as healthy mommy sexy wife . I want to enjoy that new improved me for as long as possible !

I'm having the exact same problem . I know the coordinator really busy and on top of that she's off on Thursday and Friday I guess this is another thing to warn newbies about. Don't assume your coordinator will submit to ins the day you go on in for your last visit with dr... Conrow1994 who's your doc?

Looking like alot of north of Houston's! I'm close to butterbean as I'm north of Cleveland . Lucky8 I'm with dr ballette as well and his nurse Cheryl should be submitting to my insurance today..( so if you don't mind when you meet her today tell her to hurry it up I can't take the wait much longer) lol jk. Dr ballette seems great so far, very positive helpful and to the point and I like the office staff too

Try going to your phone settings then notifications. Go to vst and turn of the notification center. I'm not 100% percent sure but I think it'll work

OK I need a little clarification.. Is the no drinking with meals because youll fill up to fast or is it because you'll stretch your pouch or is it because you'll end up just washing down whatever few nutrients you would have gotten .?

This maybe the hardest part.. I just saw my doc for my final appt and to submit my three months of nut, trainer and psych eval. I was hoping to get a surgery date sometime this month but doc was figuring beginning of next( Aetna ins) I'm hoping that he was trying to exaggerate the time frame to make it seem better if it happens faster. Now that I'm getting this close the internal food struggle seems worse, I'm battling the thoughts of rationalizing enjoying this last bit of time I have with my old friend food. I know how counter productive it is but I can't deny the feeling is there. My doc doesn't require much of a preop diet except for 2 weeks very low fat but I kinda wish he required more, he says he'd prefer his patients not be burnt out on shakes before the ever even get the surgery.. Feel free to share any thoughts well wishes past experiences

It's important also to be sure that if your multi contains iron to wait 2 hrs before taking your calcium as the iron impedes the calcium absorption and if your multi doesn't have iron you'll need a supplement for that as well. Has anyone found a gummy with iron . I'm in the same boat my nut is trying to sell the BA vites and if they taste this bad preop I can only imagine postop plus I want something I can buy locally and easily

My dr doesn't require a preop diet and I'm wanting to do one any way to start getting in the groove.. So what I was want to know is what are other drs recommending? Also I've read that some people are doing 2 shakes and one high protein meal, I bought the pure protein shakes and they have about 150 cal with 25 g pro... Is this adequate to keep my body fueled?
