    I had something similar but it was from my body going into ketosis...still have it every morning and I'm 4 months out. Search ketosis....there are a lot of posts with great info. I'm also a nurse so never hurts to have it looked at to be on the safe side!!

  20. I actually weigh everyday on my Wii fit. I have learned to look for my patterns...lose for awhile and then have a bounce up and losing again. I don't freak out like I used to pre op. Also, everyone loses at a different pace depending on alot of factors. Try to remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Take each day as it comes. I do have to say it will take awhile to adjust to the whole process. We place so much stock on what the numbers say as an indication of our success. I've had to learn to look at all of the other things I'm getting back in my life...confidence, enjoyment, my health, etc. I lost 16# the first month and now at almost 4 months out getting close to 60#. I am a slow and steady loser. I think we all see the success stories that lost 30+ lbs in a month and wonder what we are doing wrong if we don't have the same kind of loss. We are all individuals and will lose at our own pace. This was a tough lesson for me! If you are following your plan then it WILL work. You are doing great! Relax and focus on healing, resting and taking care of yourself!!! The weight will come off. My dr & NUT told me ok average anywhere from 2-4# a week was normal...sometimes more and sometimes less.
  21. I know all too well the excitement, nervousness and fear of getting started. This journey has been a transformation for me. I have made some amazing friends from this site. I am almost 4 months out and everyday brings new challenges. You will do great!!! Just arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible to prepare yourself for the road ahead.

  25. 10/31 UPDATE Wt before surgery: 267.6 Date of surgery: 7/17/12 Wt today (10/31): 220.5 Goal wt for competition: 220 Came soooo close...missed it by .5 pound but will take it!!!! I've lost 19 pounds in the past 8 weeks. On to the Thanksgiving challenge!!! Happy Halloween to all!!
