Anyone having surgery 7/17??? Looking for a mentor and a buddy to go through this journey with. My surgery is in Va. Looking forward to hearing from some fellow future sleevers and someone who has been there already!!! Thanks!!

July 17th for me in Va!!! I am sooooo ready to start on my new journey but must admit I'm nervous as well. Glad to have found this site and all of the advice.

I know how you feel.....recently (5/29) I had surgery to have the band put in but due to an artery in the wrong place they couldn't do it. That was my 1st time under as well. I was very nervous but it was a quick recovery in regards that I had surgery but not completely. I do have to say I believe it was a blessing in disquise. I am nervous to go with a different option but looking forward to getting on with my life in a more productive way.
