Let me set the record straight.. I was advised by my Dr. at the time to consider the proceedurein 2003, I had the lap band surgery done in 2006, by Dr. Marina Kurian at Lennox Hill Hopsital, on her final day of working there before she transfered to NYU medical center. I am currently now 225 lbs. i was 385lbs at the time of surgery. my waist size was a 44 I now fit in a 34 waist! so again i offer my assistance to those who seek guidance, my email will not lead to a mailbox full of spam!! slvrnblk77@aol.com is my Email adress anyone who feels the need to challange my honesty PLEASE send me a email so i can prove the doubtful wrong! Sorry it took me so long to respond back, Yes I did have it done i have lost 130 lbs since having it done i am now 225 lbs and have no regrets at all how are you ladies doing? can i be of any assistance??

Lost 140 lbs Hi I had my procedure done in 2005 I was Almost 400 lbs (385) have to admit hardest challenge I Ever put on myself, being an Italian guy who lived on pasta and bread... it was a long difficult journey I will Not lie. But I wouldn't change anything! I look better, feel better... best advice I can give to anyone who is considering surgery, do it for yourself!!!! Don't give up!
