    Hello, August Banders! I am trying for August 22. Final viist with the surgeon is this Wednesday. I am exicted and nervous. I really wanted a sleeve but my insurance company says I am not obese enough (!) so banding it is. I am giving myself this surgery for my 49th birthday (8/14). I started at 212 and am curently 204. My goal is 142. I am the mom of a 5 year old, and want to live long enough to see her go to prom. Happy to find buddies!
