    Second Fill And In Pain

You should be on liquids for two days after a fill. Swelling occurs naturally after the stomach has been manipulated. Then start out eating very small and listen to your body and pay attention to when you feel full and stop eating.
  2. I got my lapband in May 2010. Didn't have an issue til few days ago. My band is at 10cc, it's the max I'm gonna go. Any tighter and I'll be in deep doo. My primary doctor put me on iron pills. I've been taking them twice a day as instructed. I developed serious heart burn with nausea and vomiting. I couldn't tolerate water without all the gurgling in my chest. I went to my surgeon and after a fluourscopy, it was determined that my pills were sitting in the esophagus digesting. Too big to go through the band. (though I didn't think they were big, I was able to swallow them!) I was so irritated, I felt raw. It didn't occur to me to crush my pills. If you are reading this and your light bulb has come on, be sure that your pills are crushable, because there are some that are not crushable.
